Always impressed with Pompey. You'd think their fans enthusiasm would have wained with however many seasons in League 1, but that is a great number and great noise too!
Met a group prematch decent enough bunch and thankfully not the clown with the bell(seriously fella get a life) .One got a little carried away by saying they're biggest and best supported club in league one, didn't question him but he seemed to forget Sheffield Wednesday, Derby Ipswich and Bolton all get more.
Wasn't happy with them spending money, infrastructure and long term plans, wanted money spent on getting them into the championship and then worry about everything else

They're not even the biggest club in Hampshire, let alone in League 1.

Scratch that, there were two pairs of tickets on offer.

Both pairs ended up selling for £653 and £678 respectively.

Roughly 1800 sold for Bolton on Saturday.

Would've sold the last few hundred with ease if we weren't so bad atm.

Still think we'll sell the last few from the initial allocation. Get your point though, if we weren't on such a bad run we'd have been selling in the bottom tier now, taking nearer to the 3k+ we took Sheff Wednesday. Looking on our site we've only got 30 tickets left out of the 5 blocks available. Think there's one small block left that hasn't shown up yet, then it's the whole upper tier sold.

Can almost 100% guarantee the first song they sing to Vale fans will be, "how shit must you be, you sit down away".

6748 Ipswich fans at MK Dons tomorrow (plus those in the home end). For some reason they gave us more than Sheffield Wed and Derby. Apparently this will be the first time that the away fans have 'officially' outnumbered the home fans at MK. I say 'officially' because I'm sure it happened with the Derby and Wednesday game too but not with the figure given.

Only 9 single seats showing available online now. Think there's one more small block to open up on one side. Looking like the 2k will all sell now.

Decent numbers that considering our awful form in 2023 and the fact they are almost certainly going to wear us like a glove.

The last block is available now. 5 blocks sold out, just the last small one left. Classic Vale fans leaving it last minute. You can guarantee if we sell them, or even if we don't, some will moan they can't get a ticket when sales stop at 2pm today. If we'd have sold out quicker they'd have opened the bottom tier. Whatever happens looks like 1,900 / 2,000 which for a club our size is good going especially given the shit form we're in.
