Fair play to anybody that does an away game on a Tuesday night that isn't a local derby. Our away support isn't great but I was surprised at only 2,400 Scuny fans tonight.
I had to double check that when it came up on Sky Sports - very poor IMO.

I don't know about away numbers but if they gave the crowd at Blackpool at just under 6k that's an absolute fabrication. There were barely half that in the actual stadium.

Not poor from millwall on a Tuesday night, right trek, as was most fixtures last night. Fair play to all supporters that bothered when most the time it's a hell of a lot easier to stay at home

so almost 7800 home fans for league 1 is poor ??? didn't everybody expect us to have 4000-5000 this season :ffs: maybe if we were top 2 there would be more

for a club getting 20k or so just three years ago it is poor, but it is more your natural level.

Don't take that as an insult, it isn't.

384 Chesterfield at Blackpool.

Our away support so far this year has been class, maybe a few more should of been at Millwall, everywhere else - superb.

Table updated after last night. Seeing as Sheff U sold their full allocation of 1,931 that's the figure they're getting in the table, and I've edited Coventry's to match that seeing as they also sold out their allocation, which I assume was also 1,931 and not the 1,800 originally in the table. Anyone has any "official" figures then please let me know. Still missing Shrewsbury's at Rochdale.

We won't have anymore than 500 or so at Crewe on Sat. The 10 or so I was going with have all decided to sack it off, really lost my desire to make any sort of effort at the minute.

Oldham obviously don't include POTD in the away figure, both times i've been there it's seemed well short and Barnsley also said the same.

The away end there is hardly a high-tech operation in fairness, I imagine the money just goes in a piggy bank and the steward in charge of counting fucks up after 7.

don't know about disappointing hurrikeen your following tonight was abysmal. saying that you brought very similar last season.possibly given the distance it is up there with worst effort this season.

I didn’t go as far as abysmal as I don’t think just under 300 is abysmal, just disappointing.

Tuesday night.
We’ve won 1 game all season.
We played you on Tuesday night last season too (though I am sure it was 500ish?)
It’s Burslem.
It’s one of the most unattractive away fixtures for Latics in the football calendar.

A disappointing number – I totally agree, but I’ve seen much worse.

BladeMan - why don't you think Coventry sold out? Where is that info from? I'm guessing you just made that up

Thought i could remember a cov fan saying on here they had not quite sold out i might be wrong though.

Oldham away is equally as unappealing and run down but we managed over 700 last season on a Tuesday after winning once away from home in 10 months!

What happened to the other Wigan fella's posts? The slightly unhinged one?

Table amended as per the suggestions in this thread. I'll always go with club figures where possible, and if United have stated 2,012 and Cov stated "around 1,800" (I've had a look back through the thread to confirm this) then dems the ones that are going in the table.

You have to feel for southend , gillingham , colchester and millwall , they have huge distances to travel this season for away fixtures , furthest in the league by a couple thousand miles.
Sheffield united , chesterfield and portvale have the shortest away travel distance in the league

12th highest average in the league. Not bad considering Crewe, Doncaster and Cov all evening games and 1 of the Saturday games was Fleetwood - furthest trip of all
