Ours at 297 was poor but we were in Manchester at 2 and saw there was a pitch inspection and most stayed in the pub in Manc and only 3 of us got on the tram up to Bury - wish I hadn't bothered with that shower. Can udnerstand with the weather why so few didn't bother risking it. Plus we are wank

Those two stands at Crewe hold a combined 2,300 don't they? at least that's the figure that springs to mind from when we've been there.

Think it is slightly more, I am sure we took 2600 the other year, but I may be wrong.

Just looked and the most we've taken there in the past few seasons is 2,380 and at least one of them was sold out.

800 wouldn't be awful tbf. Can remember Blackburn/Blackpool/Burnley bringing around that or fewer when we were in the Championship.

Latest table, still missing Peterborough at Scunthorpe, which is annoying as I've never previously had a problem finding away figures for those two.

Looking at our away fixtures coming up, we should see a decent increase in our average (if we stay in the hunt for promotion).
Crewe, Vale, Peterborough, Blackpool as well as Wigan and Oldham towards the end of the season.

Weve not even sold out for scunny on saturday yet. Normally scunny is sold out before general sale.

Vale usually bring decent numbers to Walsall.
Sky have wrecked this fixture with their insistence on a Sunday lunchtime start.
I can understand your fans reluctance to travel to a midday kickoff that you can watch in the pub though.
I'm sure I read we only get £20,000 from Sky, I reckon the gate, if played on a Saturday, would be 5,000 minimum.
I doubt if we'll get much over 3,000 now - meaning that televising this will coast us money.
Won't even take 500. No one wants too watch us anymore. Nobody is bothered

Fans seem frustrated, even after the game on Sunday. Never heard Bramall Lane so downbeat.

Yes i know but its fully understandable aint it. All the hope and expectation of getting out of this league have basically gone already its just depressing.

Couldn't you see if you can get out of the division at the other end instead?

Thats more than likely. Only 1400 sold for scunny that really is horrific considering all 6/7 times weve been its been a 2200 sell out.

1100 tickets sold by yesterday for our trip to The Den on Saturday. Looking forward to this even though it's expensive and we'll probably get demolished given recent form.

FA Cup I know but 334 Spireites at Walsall. Double what I expected actually so whilst Saturday's following was unquestionably shite, tonight's is very decent I think.

Chesterfield have taken their tickets off sale online due to Coventry fans attempting to buy in the home end.
