One of the most disspiriting games of football I have ever had the pleasure of attending. From the start it was obvious we had not solved our defensive problems. PNE handed us our arses on a plate, and were deserved winners from the first minute to the last.

One of the few positive thoughts I had, was that I would be able to come on to this forum afterwards and congratulate all the PNE fans whose comments I've so enjoyed reading this season.

So well done TomPNE and all the rest, and good luck for next season.

Fair play Swindon as well, it was remarkable you got to the PO Final this season - and I hope you join us up above in seasons to come.

The league looks very weak next year, and if you manage to hold onto players such as Luongo, Kasim etc, or if not get big money for them, I'd put my money on you being up there again.

I doubt we will challenge again next year, this season was a poor league minus a few teams and we were fortunate to have a great run that helped us cement a spot in the play-offs. The majority of our squad will leave in the summer, and if think we will do well to compete again for a play-off spot. What do I know though, I never thought we'd make the play offs this season and have one of the most insane semi finals!

Apart from the obvious players that are OOC and most likely won't stay, Foderingham etc, you should get some tidy fees for players like Luongo, Byrne, Gladwin etc if they do go - and you will be able to re-invest, and if done right, you should be up there again.

I've been impressed with the style of football that Swindon have had on show this season, and I think personally Cooper has done a fantastic job, but when it came down to the final sprint, you lost consistency and any sort of rhythm.

Fair play Swindon Town FC - cheers for the memories this year, it's been fun, and we'll see you in years to come, for more hotly contested games and rivalries.
