16,000 sold on the first day of sales. Season ticket holders only, too.

Good effort.

Compared to Doncaster, yes, definitely.
Four leagues in the last 16 years. 4 promotions and 2 relegations. Had our ground burnt to a crisp by our former owner. Near takeover with one of the world's most recognisable faces. Incredible title winning game which lead us to be a you tube sensation. Had world cup and champions league players in our squad the same year we got relegated. An incredible league cup run and a JPT win. Yep but we're more boring then little old Preston :2thumb:

All in the last 16 years.
I'm fairly sure what your replies going to be but I wont be indulging you anymore

Indeed a great effort. However people are panic buying. The sales and speed of them will soon tail off.

Wow, that's desperate.

Having your ground burnt down sounds ace.

Hoping for a PNE win, if only to see Tom's happy little face.

Always liked North End as a club, so I hope they win comfortably resulting in the continuation of our tinpot and extremely one-sided rivalry with the Swine next season.

I hope everyone saying that they think it will go to extra time is wrong, just booked my train down from Hull but cos I cant afford to stay in London and it's a late kick off I'd have to leave before extra time to make the last train back, knowing my luck I'll end up on a train with no signal unable to find out the result of a match I was at

I don't really mind who goes up or stays down. Both are about the same distance for next season.
I suppose Preston deserve to go up more for their closeness to going up automatic but in reality it means fuck all.
Could go the distance this game.

Half 5 kick off is a pisstake. Don't mind who wins. I like Grayson but Swindon should be the easier game next season. Toss a coin on pens.

Like Preston, enjoy our 'rivalry' with Swindon.

Glad it's these two in the final - enjoy battling it out boys.

I'm fucking raging. My mates booked tickets and dropped an absolute clanger.
He wanted the bottom tier despite me begging for it not to be that one.
Anyway, seat 12, row fucking 1, behind the bastarding net.

Anyway that's my view of the game. Might not go.

Ha! I had the same view in 2001.

Managed to find a spare seat on my tod, underneath the overhang from the 2nd tier, towards the corner flag, which wasn't much better.

Everyone who I went with were on the top tier.

What a shit day.

My mate is better than your mate.
Last few weeks has taught me a lot about me and my life.
I need a new a Mrs, and a new set of friends. Enjoy your Kronenburgs anyway.

Pulled my mate on it, he's not as happy as I am because of the ticketing system. Says we'll have a good view of the goals, and players celebrating if we win.
Probably draw 0-0, and get beat on penalties. The penalties will obviously be taken at the Swindon end.

Exactly what I'll be doing, keeping a look out for empty seats. I'm not holding my breath though.

I hope your trip to Wembley brings you more joy.

But on the other hand, if Preston lose we'll get to see SF_'s meltdown :bg:

Should be a good game, two great sides and both worthy of the Championship next season. Don't mind who wins, probably prefer Preston though.

There are positives for both teams should they lose, Preston can reignite their rivalry with Blackpool, and Swindon can look forward to a nice southern league..... :ohy:

Why would I have a meltdown? I'm expecting to lose.

Not if you read PNE online. Those with inside knowledge reckon over 16k already. Thought it was unrealistic, we won't take more than 27-28 in my opinion.

Be aware of the huge amount of time it can take to get back to the station after the game too by the way with all the queues, unless you're perhaps walking to one further afield. The only time I went to the new Wembley it took us an hour or so to get from the stadium to Wembley Park.

Sat with the prawn sandwich brigade at Wembley (Club Wembley, 2nd Tier)

Proper good view - but lacks atmosphere.

The atmosphere in Wembley on the whole is shite - doesn't have much of a football stadium feel about it, as others have said.
