Sat with the prawn sandwich brigade at Wembley (Club Wembley, 2nd Tier)

Proper good view - but lacks atmosphere.

The atmosphere in Wembley on the whole is shite - doesn't have much of a football stadium feel about it, as others have said.

over 15.5k sold they went on general sale at 9am this morning with most of the bottom tier filled now, I really thought we would struggle to sell our 31k allocation with our 3rd trip in 5 years but half the allocation sold in 1.5 days is a promising start.

Good figures so far. Be interesting to see what the figures look like come the start of next week. I think anything over 25k is a really good effort by Swindon. What figures did you get for the other 2 trips out of interest?

Why would I have a meltdown? I'm expecting to lose.
I know you always bottle it and have a shit record in the play offs, but surely you've got to be a tad optimistic.

I think you will win, you have to win the play offs at some point and you were the best placed side too.

It was just a joke anyway pal, I seem to remember you being angry when you were on a shit run earlier in the season.

The internet was fortunate I was too pissed to use a computer after the Colchester game.

I would not of thought so although the coach companies will be rubbing their hands together, the trains are only affecting Chippenham and Swindon there are lots of Town fans that live in South Oxfordshire who can get the train at Didcot. I think we will just about make the 30k mark mind you I thought that the last 2 times and we surpassed it.
Club have just tweeted to say over 16K sold with over 10,000 tickets sold today alone:2thumb:

APPARENTLY (and I stress that point) it is looking likely we will be needing the extra allocation (according to a woman on the phone at SeeTickets)

I was under the impression it wasn't that side of London that the trains aren't running services - where's the hold up?

Think the 5.30 kick off is a belting idea. It was the only thing that was remotely worth looking forward to about the Play-offs. Would have been a nice early one from MK into London.

Much better than a 12:15 or 1pm kick off.

Bus services back from Crewe or Manchester, nothing direct

I agree the late kick-off is probably better suited to PNE fans coming down from Preston - as they won't have to leave at ridiculous AM just to get to the pub for a last minute pint.

Even for Swindon fans - forget moaning, go and have a day out in London on the lash!

You won't regret it!

Expensige night in London though isn't it - especially as most fans wouldn't have calculated for this cost seeing as they only needed a win at Colchester to be in the position you ended up in...

To be fair there has not be much moaning about the trains from the regulars we will always get there no matter what and 5:30 KO means a nice leisurely 10 o'clock leave and in the pub at Wembley for 12:45:db:

Sounds good.

Some decent pubs around Wembley as well - if you get allocated the ones we did earlier this season it should be up an enjoyable pub crawl.

It's really weird, I'm so pleased that we went up by the autos, but to be the winning club at a play off at Wembley must be the biggest buzz going, something to tell your kids in 20 years.

Whereas we 'just' got promoted in 2nd.

Believe me, I would be very happy to swap places. Play-offs are only good in hindsight when you've won.

I know the football-rumours website is full of shite but this one made me laugh out loud:ffs:

"If preston get promoted they will invest 250k and Neil killkenny for swindons midfielder luongo who mark cooper ( swindon boss ) has said may be allowed to leave the club"
