James, Notts are safe if they win and Colchester don't get 6 points from two games. It doesn't matter what Coventry or Crewe do if Notts win in that scenario

Expect Colchester to beat Swindon Reserves (wankers) on Tuesday. All we need to do is win. Bradford won't go easy on us though

Dangerous game at this time of the season. You need some momentum. They have Preston on the last day which will be a really tough game

True, but if Colchester did get 6 points, you'd have to rely on either Coventry or Crewe failing to win.

Correct. Tuesday's game is a big one for all the bottom 5. If Col fail to win it. Notts need to match or better the results of those below us

Genuine prediction

Crawley to beat Coventry
Us to draw
Notts County to win
Colchester to beat Swindon Reserves and lose to Preston
Leyton Orient to beat Swindon Reserves

So table will end

Crawley 53
Notts County 53
Crewe 53
Coventry 52
Leyton Orient 51
Colchester 51

Coventry, Orient and Col U to go down, really hope Crawley go down though. Wouldn't mind Notts going down as we always lose to them but Crawley and Pogba can piss off.

If Coventry have any pride, they won't let that happen. To go from proud members of the top flight for 34 years to being relegated to the Football League basement division at the expense of a traditionally Southern League side with support still befitting that level would be indeed a dark and shameful chapter in the club's history.

It will be very sad, and is very likely. Our players have no pride, half of them wouldn't give a toss if we went down, they would be looking forward to their holidays.

Still think it would take the most unlikely combination of results for you to go down, even if you lose. A point will almost certainly be enough regardless of what Colchester do - surely that's not too much to ask of your team?

We'll end up winning 1-0 and Mowbray will be the best thing since sliced bread again. Our fans are just a tad bipolar.

You base your opinions of the last game constantly. We lose to Crewe and we're getting relegated, we draw with Bristol and your confident of us doing well next season. You can't be taken seriously.

Surely in the current climate we take every game as it is?

Had we won today we'd be safe and looking ahead to next season. We didn't, so now we're fighting against relegation.

I don't see the problem?

Interesting how Coventry appointed a 'wise old head' and it might not work.

Ah see, thats where you're wrong. Mowbray like Moniz had no experience of League One. So, I assume then that that means both were strange appointments, given the lack of knowledge either had of the 3rd tier.

Would be pretty funny if County stayed up at Coventry's expense mind, I can think of a few posts that would make for good signatures for you County fans. :fish:

I think Colchester will lose on Tuesday, we'll draw on Saturday, Notts County will win, leaving Crawley and Coventry to fight it out between themselves.

Personally I hope for a scenario where we're 3-0 up and safe and then I get weird looks as I cheer every twist and turn that dooms Crawley to relegation. We must rid ourselves of them.

We must also keep Crewe because we always beat them. So Col U and Crawley down and then hopefully Orient too, I have no issues with you Orient apart from geographical location. This is a Northern league and I'll be DAMNED if that changes. You soft southern fucking fairies, get your own league. That goes for you too Swindon and your soft fucking ways - never seen anything more dastardly southern and soft than this team selection bullshit. Mark Cooper thinking he's being all intelligent and that when the fucking dunce signed Exodus Geohaghon for a Championship team.

However, we will definitely get relegated. Too much has gone in our favour today for us to not then spectacularly fuck up next weekend and find ourselves 2-0 down after 10 minutes.

I don't know which three deserve relegation more out of the six.

Coventry: Be absolutely mental to see them in League Two, no Top 6 finish since 1970 means they could get promoted with a 7th placed finish next season should they go down! However they often give us points, lots of them at that, so I want them to stay.

Crewe: 4 points in our first 11, 3 wins in our last 16, a 10 win in 18 game spell has got us to where we are. This is the best position we've had in a final day escape battle for a long time so it'd be hilarious if we blew it and went down a la Northampton in 2008-09. Probably deserve relegation for the amount of tonkings we've had this season.

Notts County: Shithoused survival with us last season, wouldn't mind them going down as they always beat us (I've never even seen us draw with Notts at home let alone win since I started following Crewe). However, they're a more local trek than the sides currently below them, which is good reason to spare them. If they go down though it'll be funny to see Mansfield fans get a stiffy over Notts presence and for them to take more than their average home gate to Notts away like old times.

Crawley: I wish relegation on this tinpot outfit the most, us staying up and Mathias Pogba in League Two would be a wonderful thing. Should they go down we'll never see them in League One ever again and it'll only be a matter of time before they'll be renewing acquaintances with Aldershot and Bromley in the Vanarama.

Leyton Orient: Another of our bogey sides, at a ground far, far away. Not to mention they've spunked a shit ton of money on overpaid journeymen. It'd be funny to see them slog it out in League Two but I reckon they'd piss that league next season.

Colchester: I really think Colchester should do their time in League Two, they've been floundering about at the bottom last few years and I think after a 17 year absence they should gracefully accept their banishment to Accrington purely for being too far away from Crewe. Also ourselves and Notts have served our time in that wretched league so Colchester must experience what its like to have Morecambe bring 31 fans to you. That said we always beat them at their place.

So bottom three to stay as it is please, although it won't.
