I want Crawley, Leyton Orient and Colchester to go down purely on geography, sorry.
And please football gods not to let Southend come up :(

My head hurts trying to calculate all permutations.
One ludicrous piece of info though: As things stand at the moment, If we (Crawley) beat Coventry next Sunday, both teams could stay up - or both could go down.
What a fuck up :)

Crawley, Colchester for me, then I really can't decide on who else. Crewe is a good away day, Orient is a London away trip and we could be without one next season if Millwall somehow stay in the Championship, Coventry would be sad to see them go given the size of the club, Notts is another cracking away day and I've a soft spot for them having spent 4 years at uni in the city. Fuck knows.

We could potentially be the only London-based club in L1 next year. Depressing.

Think what it'd be like for us if you DIDN'T come down.

Best-case scenario is MK Dons staying down, Crawley, Colchester and Orient staying up and Southend and Wycombe getting promotion, and even that looks underwhelming.

I have a horrible feeling you'll stay up, send Rovrum down, MK will go up in the play-offs, Crawley, Col U and Orient will all lose their remaining games and go down, and Southend will bugger up their third place as Wycombe have - Bury to sneak up in third and Plymouth through the play-offs. I think that'd make our local game next season potentially Swindon...?

Almost worth the relegation to avoid that league.

I think we're the second longest serving members of League One, Colchester possibly the third? Either way, Oldham are the undisputed WABLO team. Maybe we could even rename League One to 'The Oldham Division'.

Looked into my crystal ball and this is how it will pan out, I might as well lock the thread after this because this is all scientific fact.

Colchester beat Swindon and lose to Preston - 51 points

Crewe beat Bradford - 55 points

Crawley beat Coventry - 53 & 52

Notts draw 1-1 with Gillingham - 51.

Orient will beat Swindon in dramatic fashion - 51

Crewe
Crawley
Coventry
Orient
Notts
Colchester
Yeovil

Leyton Orient can finish on max 51, those results would still send Orient down

We haven't conceded away in four games...

So we will end up letting in like 5 goals.

Can't help but think a lot may depend on Mark Cooper's team selection!

He's an utter scrote as it is. Every season he always throws FA Cup games hence why Cheltenham and Macclesfield have had heavy wins over them in recent years. Colchester will get a win by a handsome margin tomorrow night. To me Orient are down, so even if he throws that game nothing will come of it.

Least Orient can't catch you! If we draw and Orient win though, that's curtains for us. Not that I blame Cooper btw, it's our fault we're in this position.

I can't see Crawley beating Cov, that Posh defeat must have shattered them, plus they were awful against us. Cov Can't see Colchester beating Preston. All down to whether Orient can get owt at Swindon I reckon

Makes the 0-6 defeat at Chesterfield last week even more of a piss take when it looked like going down to goal difference.

So Rochdale, 7th, have lost more games than Notts in 19th. That's a reason to want Notts to stay up.

Apparently Swindon are fielding a strong side now, they just wanted to stop Franchise from getting Top 2, heroes!

Was buzzing that Sheffield United goal on Saturday has given us insurance. I still reckon you lot will win on Sunday, I reckon Crawley's home form will prevail over Coventry and I hope that for dear life Preston do the business on Saturday. Long as us and Preston avoid defeat we're here next year so I'll take that. That said, Swindon pick up anything tomorrow and our job becomes even easier.

Good idea.

"The Oldham Rule" would also come into effect if this was to materialise - which basically means MK Dons are automatically relegated from "The Oldham Division", and that MK Dons are not allowed to progress above League 2 for the forseeable future. If MK Dons were to finish in the top 3 of League 2, they would automatically be replaced by York City, as that's an away trip I would like to do the most these days.

Surely by Swindon playing weak teams it is going to backfire when a furious MK Dons then hammer them in the play offs?!

Hard to call this depending on team selections and pressure etc.

Fancy Gills to beat Notts, Crawley to beat Coventry, Crewe to beat Bradford, Orient to draw with Swindon and Colchester to fall short

If Swindon win tomorrow, that means a point will keep us up. Would feel so much better about Sunday if we had that added insurance.
