Rochdale would be daft to get rid, but wouldn't be surprised if Stockport added him to their collection.

He isn't involved in that as that is purely DC's realm, at the moment he's sorting the new training ground project and things behind the scenes and the off field projects to build the clubs football structure such as the college etc.

Cant see DC letting him get involved in teams and tactics!

I didn’t necessarily have Mills in mind but yeah he’s been really underwhelming. For someone who seemed to weigh in with his fair share of goals and assists his attacking output has been shocking. Could fill a 2 minute video with clips of him wasting a good crossing position by sticking it in the stand. Should be very good for League 2 mind you.

How do you know who's going to be involved at either end of the table when you don't even know what teams are in the league or before the transfer window is even open. Jesus Christ.

As a Minor League Scout, to know who is going to contend promotion next season from League Two depends on the 3 Factors, 1/ size of the club, 2/ which clubs have the best Managers 3/ which clubs have the best Scout.

On that basis my Top 3 for next season will Salford, Port Vale & Crawley Town.

Salford & Port Vale for reasons 1 & 2 above. Crawley Town for reason 3 above.

University is for anybody who achieves the accepted qualifications. Unfortunately English Language and an ability to understand grammar are statutory so its clear you never got close.

People go to uni for different reasons. Some people just go for the experience of going... rather than the qualification. One major issue with uni is that there are usually plenty of people who go to study subjects that aren’t transferable or they haven’t actually worked that hard during the degree). If you go and do law, accountancy, marketing, medicine etc (there’s plenty more criminology to go into the police etc etc) and get a first/2:1 it’s a lot easier to get a job. If you go and get a 2:2 in geography and sociology (and I know a few)... how does that make you more employable? It doesn’t.

I think it also depends if that is the extent of your ambition. If owning a car and having a holiday every year is enough then leaving school and getting a trade probably is a better way to go. You can earn a pretty damn good living as a plumber, electrician, joiner etc. There’s plenty of people that didn’t go to uni that have made fortunes and plenty of people who have gone to uni that haven’t.

Never attended to uni as I'm a bit thick but I have been to the university of Kent in Canterbury and, take my word for it , it's a lovely place in a decent city. I do know the courses they offer for Chemistry are well worth participating in.

If someone has attended there they will have a pretty good standard of degree.

I think the problem nowadays is that it’s too easy to get the accepted qualifications to go to uni. It should be available to everyone that works hard and is dedicated to it...to people that genuinely want a career in the subject they are pursuing.

Why give up at least 3 years of your life... achieve 30k plus of student loan debt in a subject that won’t advance your career? Unless you choose to go for non-academic reasons. At which point getting a job with the degree becomes irrelevant because that wasn’t the original goal. I’m sure other people will have a different opinion.

He did the Hull capital of culture light show without the benefit of a university degree. He relied on knowledge and experience.

He is under contract. Which means little, but I expect him to stay.

We are going to be in big big trouble next season if we don’t get the signings right in the summer. Now that the rest of the league have found out how to play against our one dimensional tactics, this team as it is will be in a relegation battle next season. The form over the second half of the season would certainly suggest that, but not only the form, the standard of performances have been down there with turgid relegation standard cufc teams of the past.

Im not talking about an overhaul here, just two or three signings in certain positions that will make the difference required.
