Same here, I’m wondering if a potential new owner could have asked for a new CEO to be in place whilst the deal goes through, and that’s why Fisher was appointed.

That’s the total of Scally’s investment, he has done very well out of it though over the 27 years (and I’m no Scally basher).

It’s just the club finds itself back at square one after that initial quid.

I'll always appreciate scally for saving our club and giving us the best times I've ever had supporting us but the time has come for him to go for the club sake and his own health which apparently is not good.

The club has stagnated and under him we are only heading in one direction and that's into non league, time for a fresh approach it may not work with a new owner but we need to try it as a club.

Scally's biggest problem has always been, he's In the right all the time, it's his way or the high way, his ego has got to big and its caused problems with the fans, he can slag us fans off and think it's ok but goes running to the media when fans bite back ( not condoning the vile abuse he recieved some of it went way to far).

It will be with a certain amount of trepidation though as not all overseas owners end up being good for the clubs, do they?

Not sure exactly if he owns the stadium, seems he has given the club a loan (probably as the takeover may go beyond the January transfer window),which according to kent online has given him the freehold to priestfield all confusing stuff

No alarms bells with me mate.
We don’t know if he has passed the fit and proper test yet as these things are never disclosed until the deal is completed, or at least they shouldn’t be.
As for him being a Tampa based property magnet, the properties he tends to deal with are multi million dollar properties in and around LA and Florida. I would be absolutely astonished if he woke up one day and thought to himself “Medway, that’s where it’s at. That’s where I am going to look for my next luxury project”.
Only time will tell I guess, but we need some sort of change now.

Everything’s tied up in NDA’s so the little information we can find is just what’s online. We do have a trust but they’re in the dark too. As The Last Waltz says, I’d be astonished if he was looking at a relatively small plot of land in a run down area and thinking he can make a fast buck by building luxury houses on it.

Some people think the fit and proper persons test has already been passed, but again that’s just speculation at this stage.

Just a side note, the prospective buyer does not own the ground. The ground is still owned by the football club.
He merely has a charge registered against it.

Article 3 says there are 600 million shares in the limited company.

The owners want to sell more shares and thus dilute the shareholding of existing shareholders, in order to do this then they have to delete Article 3.

Present owner owns 75% of shares but I think company law says that more than 75% of shareholders need to vote in favour of an article change.

Or Scully just wants some fool to buy some new shares but keeps majority of shares himself.
