I don't think Kenny is all that biased, but clearly the forum disagrees, to be honest I found this one quite difficult to call, I don't think there has been any great bias on this forum

AdamStag biased? I'd say Wh_Stag is much more biased but he rarely posts so is a bit of an unknown character.

Most pessimistic realistic pessimistic poster

Even McNulty can work this one out... all you need to know is this - the award goes to the poster who most gave the impression of doom and gloom, and it was unanimous... one person stands on the podium alone, there aren't even the usual bunch of people with single votes. This person took every single vote in this category. I don't think I even need to tell you who won.

By the way... how do you post a link to a member's profile? I'd like to do that.

Put an @ in front of their name. It'll actually give you suggestions as you type too.

Cheers.

I'd just like to thank my useless excuse for a football team, Greg Abbott for laying the foundations, Graham Kavanagh for his excellent work over the summer to make things worse. Without them, this award would never have been possible.
Thank you and have a great night!

And due to my forfeit, I won't be able to defend this title next season :(

Most Optimistic Poster

Again, another award where someone took the lions share of the votes, followed by a clutch of folks on 1 vote each. The clue was in the name really, although I can't help thing that our optimistic friend wouldn't have seemed so chipper had he been around in January (which he wasn't). Still, he wanted to win the best new member award and ended up taking away a much more valuable award, so congratulations.

erm no, best new member is more prestigious.
Maybe under normal circumstances, but this year's awards are a bit different. Best new member might have seemed a little meaningless this year, as people didn't even seem to know who the new members were.

I'm not biased at all, I'm usually pretty critical of Mansfield. Who voted for that? Lol

Poster you'd most like to give a slap
There are lots of reasons you might want to slap someone, and the raw emotions involved are such that asking people to justify why they would get so much satisfaction from planting an open palm squarely on the side of a forum member's face would deprive them of the joy of doing so.

For that reason this award can't really be disputed, if people want to slap you there's no point arguing that they're wrong, just bare your chops and accept your punishment.

This award is shared, so it looks like a double slapping is in order. Perhaps they can slap each other when Carlisle and Mansfield next meet. It seems that pessimism is seen as a grave sin on this forum, being a Mansfield fan is apparently similarly distasteful as I can't honestly think what else Adamstag might have done to rank so high... or indeed what UTS might have done to rank so low.

Poster You'd Most Like To Meet For A Pint

Next season could be a busy, expensive, and tipsy affair for those posters who the rest of the forum are keen to get sozzled with. By the end of if they'll be as pissed as half the Carlisle United first team were over Christmas, or as Lenny Pidgeley is all the time.

1. Murphy
2. shoddycollins
3. Richard Cranium

Finally, a Mansfield fan has won a nice award, and if any Mansfield fan was going to win the approval of the forum it was always going to be Dick Scalp. I'm touched that people would like to enjoy the company of myself for a couple of pops too, perhaps me and Richard can enjoy a pint over the sight of HG and Adam slapping each-other. The prize (or should that be prosecco) goes to Murphy though, and as it seems D&R's entire public profile is build on his young shoulders, we'd best be careful how drunk we get him, or there could be some every interesting comments in their programme next season.
