I find it absolutely fantastic that Mansfield continue to be voted the 'worst' set of fans, it's pretty much a tradition going far back in to our non-league days and beyond!

A lot of the Staggies don't really seem to post much now from the old days in TFF, including myself, Stoney, Stringy, JJ (Jumping John) everybody loved JJ. The only regular posters from way back I see posting is Richard Cranium and Adam!

Yeah, thought you might have gotten something for running the Last Man Standing thread... we are running a fairly cut down version of the awards though because of the break between one forum and another. Last year in League One there were more awards, including one specifically for people who had contributed to the forum. Hopefully come next year we'll have a lot more people and a lot more posts that people can look through and vote on.

I will vote and pay more attention next year! ...yes I'm new, I joined after you begged us Poolies to come and commit online suicide for your entertainment, that never worked out did it? As far as being optimistic , I was one of a small number on into the blue who believed, even at 10 points adrift! SESTON Poolie as you know him , says what he sees more than me, I say what I want to see! ... Thank you to anyone voting for me, had I voted Shoddy Hello Stag and a few others would have got one, I enjoy the banter on here and the go for a pint one has to be the one to go for...Thanks again

It might piss a few of the old timers off that you managed to win an award without even really being aware of the awards. All I would say is that when Hartlepool host Dagenham and Redbridge next season you should stay incognito.

I had to leave the awards night shortly before the end due to having to watch a film with her indoors, bless her, she's never been to a football match in her life. Because she knows how much Burton Albion has been part of my life she has genuinely taken an interest and been pleased with us winning the championship this season. Well done for running this shoddy and to all of you who contribute on here, first rate banter and knowledge. Sadly or gloriously I'm heading for pastures knew next season in the league 1 forum.
Some of you have the agony of the play offs to endure yet, hell for 3 clubs, joy for one.
All have a good recharge during the summer and I wish all of you and whichever club you support good times next season.
A special mention to hellogregory too as he rose to the level of a cult figure last night !

Why thank you! ....obviously I would have had to vote for you in the most pessimistic, but don't take that the wrong way, your Pessimism , although unwarranted and over the top, merely showed the concern and passion you have for your club, all clubs need passionate fans, even if our passion shows itself in many different forms. Keep up the good posts and hopefully we can carry on our sparing in the promotion thread next season

Just a final run-down of the winners of the awards. A good night for Mansfield, Carlisle and Dagenham fans, who between them account for 11 of the 14 awards. A very good night for hellogregory who managed to carry away 3 and a half awards, and also for Glasshalffullpools who picked up a couple of awards in recognition of contributions made since gatecrashing the relegation thread. Murphy picked up a brace too, and has knocked Leewilson off his perch.

The first two awards out of the way, we're now onto the awards for individual posters, and the first of those is for the best poster to join since the switch to 1FF.

This is just how the votes landed, there was no attempt by me to set out who exactly should be eligible for this award, and I still don't know.

Spoiler: Results

Nobody managed to get more than one vote, and I'm sure some of these actually were on TFF. Some voters said they were unsure whether the person they were voting for should have been eligible, and a lot of voters abstained. Can't say this award really worked, and it was one I was considering not bothering with anyway. Of course we won't have this one next year so it doesn't matter.

Of those I'm sure only Glasshalffullpools actually is a new member, well I'm 100% sure Mowgli's always been around, and technically Pliny shouldn't be eligible for not supporting a club in this division oh well, anyone know if any of the others are new?

Nah, I hardly post on there, and I never even heard of that place before TFF vanished. It must just be because you were pretty early to come to this forum, when it was mostly TFFers reconnecting with each other, and with this being Carlisle's first season down here I was still just getting to know most of the L2 fans from TFF in January.
