Leeds 'havin it large' in Germany tonight by the sounds of it. Post match pitch invasion, punch up, riot police, drama drama.

Apparently wasn't all that bad, German fans tried stealing Leeds flags or something and then a few handbags. Bloody pre-season with European fans wearing balaclavas for fucks sake

not to the media, no wonder we have a bad name if these are the reports

i've been told Eintracht Frankfurt ultras arrived in balaclavas looking for trouble, 25 arrests but only 3 or 4 leeds fans, so 21 germans etc

yet the BBC is yet again tarnishing our name, by not even mentioning the Germans, typical, but i've said this before, the Guardian will have a field day with this (the Anti-Leeds paper)

going back to actual football though, our team still looks fucking hopeless, even though you shouldn't take much notice of friendlies, i had 2 mates at the game, both said we still can't do the basic things, and our defending is still the same

goodluck with your promise Cellino

The Daily Mail article defends the Leeds fans and one or two others have followed the same.

I was there and saw everything that happened in the ground but not all of what happened outside.
We got a taxi to the game and while at a junction saw about 50-60 eintract get off one those bendy buses, most dressed in black t shirts, the police took them all up a hill away from the ground to let every one else get in. About 15 mins into the game they came in, walked past a St Georges cross Leeds flag and pulled it down,(didn't steal it). They saw the numbers we had there and basically spent most of the game sunbathing by the corner flag until about 10 mins from the end when a few started following a few of the Leeds early leavers out the ground (the ground was miles from anywhere and some had ordered taxis), a few eintract stayed and when the final whistlewent a few Leeds went on the pitch mostly having pictures took with the players. A few minutes later i saw a big splash from an eintract fan throwing a water bucket at the Leeds fans which was thrown back and a few scuffles started (mostly 'come dancing' type) until a Leeds fan got sparked with a kick to his head but im pretty sure he was ok later.
When I left the ground a saw a Leeds fan lying unconscious being treated by medics his head all bandaged up and realised it was a guy I was chatting to at the last pub before the game, he was on his own as his mates Mrs had given birth the day before, he was a completely peaceful bloke who wouldn't have said boo to goose, in fact he worked for the UN. Apperently a german (who had left early to pick off early leavers)smacked him from behind and he smashed his head on the floor.
All the germans did was target small numbers but a few of them had to run the gauntlet outside as Leeds fans were around the ambulance where the unconcious guy was. Mostly the riot police were on top of it.

Trouble at the Derby game last night and barely a mention of it in the news.

Leeds will be due around £1m from Saint Etienne if and hopefully when we finally complete the deal for Max Gradel, probably next week.

Don't spend it all at once.

You know what the media are like, they only write about certain clubs. Sadly trouble at a Derby game in pre season doesn't really sell, but if you change it to 'dirty, horrible Leeds', everyone wants to read that...

Leeds Fans - How is Liam Cooper doing for you??
He's just not that good unfortunately. Hopefully he can get better but he's not a centre half for a team challenging for promotion from this league imo.

Luckily for him, he's not going to feature in a team challenging for promotion this year.....

Apparently not but who knows. The reason mooted as being he wants more time with Hull FC but that could be bollocks. The early optimism of this season has faded rather fast.

How much did he pay originally though?
It's complicated because he bought it cheap but took on a fair chunk of debt so think up front not much. Hard to say what he wants but there are lots of questions to be asked. This is extremely out of the blue. LFU only really wanted representation on the board so something must have materialised quite significantly from fans chucking in £50/£100 for some shares.

Not really. If it fails it fails. Not as if we haven't been there and done that before.
Fan ownership at this level is nigh on impossible imho but good luck...

Seeing figures mentioned on Twitter of two lots of £5mil, if so is Leeds fans finding £10mil realistically possible?

Yeah but like I say, he took on £20m of GFH's debt so in reality the takeover was worth much more than that. Impossible to say atm.

Well we haven't had a good owner since the turn of the millennium so it's not like it's a tremendous risk.

And the odds are it won't end up being a 100% fan owned club.
