Is it. I didn't watch the match but that's only bad refereeing if there's no reason for it. Plenty of matches where six minutes is entirely justified.
I was talking about that game, not some blanket statement about all games with 6 minutes added on. As has been said, no goals, very little in terms of injuries, a couple of subs and that is about it. The Tranmere 6 minutes was bad enough, this one shouldn't have been more than 2-3 minutes.

These refs and their bias against Port Vale has to stop
I think we should be awarded 7-9 points for the last 3 games. It's really not too much to ask.

Ok so to put this into context.. last week against tranmere we had 6 minutes added time, that game had 3 goals by this point, a red card and the same amount of substitution stoppages. Today was a 0-0 with a much simpler red card as the player required no treatment. Not justifying the result or pinning blame on the fact we lost as regardless to the amount of time added on you stay focused until the final whistle. Simply just putting this out there because I don’t agree with fans trying to justify 6 minutes in a 0-0 game that they didn’t even watch
poor refereeing. He was awful the entire game, giving fouls whenever a player falls over for either side. the stoppage time is just inexplicable.

I obviously don't hear too much of Radio Humberside but Holloway having a pop back seemed the right thing to do. Always got the impression that they stir everything up quite a lot and poke the hornets nest.
They do stick their noses in a lot, but at the same time it's their job to do that isn't it? John Tondeur is very good, in my opinion. He'll ask the difficult questions, it's generally a manager acting unreasonably when they get snappy. Matt Dean and David Burns will often Tweet a lot of stuff before having anything confirmed though, which is a bit unprofessional - especially when we're talking about transfers.

Absolutely horrific performance from us though on Saturday. I've remained relatively positive throughout the season and stuck up for certain players, but that was dreadful from front to back. Owen Windsor was completely anonymous, to the point that it took me until the 38th minute before I remembered he was on the pitch. Reminiscent of the sort of performances we put in under Mike Newell. Big improvement needed tomorrow.

Tranmere looked very good, but quite how much that was down to us and how much it was to them being good, I don't know. Proper men vs boys stuff.

Watched a interview Holloway did Friday. Saying the team needed money to keep going. Said he was going to a meeting now where he basically had to let players go. No surprise the team played like they did Saturday.

Having seen Cambridge and Southend this season it would be a massive shock if Cambridge didn’t win... although you never know I guess!

Tranmere cheated for years with throwings.....its not new
Not if one of the throwings was you out of the ground. As far as the discussion on Throw ins goes having a player capable of lobbing the ball 40 yards isnt against the rules. Couldn't you have spent some of this years wasted time learning something about football.

Not a valid excuse. It's time to stand up and be counted, not walk around with your hands on your hips.

That's true but if Cambridge want to be serious promotion contenders then they should be able to beat Southend with a full strength line up.

Don't get me wrong I would rather go there and tonk them 5-0 but the EFL must punish them for the way they have handled it. Points deduction or fine them because the game was called off due to injuries, not Covid.

There are teams in my opinion who will rise in this league.....Bolton, Port Vale, Mansfield and Scunthorpe.
Then the are teams who are near the top who will fall down the league in the coming months because they are basically shit.......Cambridge,Exeter,Carlisle and Tranmere
When i accused you of being Thogden i was wrong and owe an apology. I am very sorry and now realise my mistake. Sorry Thogden. This idiot knows even less than you.

Should probably let us register players if they didn't want it cancelled. Hilarious how much this has annoyed you.

Clearly Southend didn't fancy playing a team as good as Cambridge, but are more then happy to play us. Understandable to be fair.
Having played you and Cambridge in our last 2 games you looked better going forward than them - and a better team when you played 4 at the back - but when you went to a back 5 you were awful at defending.

We normally go with 5 at the back....

They always take the piss gaining yardage as well, hardly ever gets taken from where it actually goes out of play. On top of that no one bloody moves to show for the ball most of the time which makes the throw take ages and eventually when it's taken loses possession straight away.
I once asked a referee same question and he shrugged his shoulders and said that as long as the thrower is standing at same spot as where the ball went out of play, he turns a blind eye if they pinch a few feet.
Nearly every player in every club throughout football does same so it is next to impossible to stop.

Has that been proven?

Well if it’s due to Covid then they shouldn’t be playing tomorrow night as in theory their covid cases should be self isolating for the next 10 days or so. Let’s see.

Cheltenham are 2nd in table almost solely because of points they've gained from an extraordinary long throw by Ben Tozer.
Nothing illegal but if he is standing adjacent to penalty box, he can throw ball to a team mate standing inside it.
Wonderful. Better than a corner kick.
I wish FGR could sign someone who could thrown as accurately so far. We'd be top of table by a mile.

Unless the 10 days was up between Saturday and Tuesday? Apologies - I'm not up on the story, so not sure what happened really.

They played on Saturday 14th in the FA Cup with no cases, they should then isolate for 14 days from at least the 15th (probably later though as first report was Friday night). In any case they shouldn’t be playing tomorrow night.

But if it’s down to injuries then that’s a different issue, clearly. But there’s complications legally (and ethically) with playing a whole load of youths.

Doesn't sound good. However, they should be isolating 14 days from when the affected squad members first had symptoms so there are possible explanations. Definitely not defending them or anything, but it could be a tricky one to prove.
