We were absolutely class in that second half, after Walsall had the better of the first half we completely blew them away.

Disappointing to be dragged back in injury time but Morecambe deserved it, we were lucky to ge a point really.

Thought Morecambe were a really good side, don't think they'll be in any kind of relegation trouble this year

Dealt with everything and looked composed enough to see that out.

Absolutely nothing going for us at the moment.

ended Barrow 2 FGR 2
FGR equalised with virtually the last kick - a well struck direct free kick from 20 yards that went in off the underside of the bar after a needless Mike Jones foul. Again a game that we could have won. FGR are one of the better teams we have played.
The game changed 5 minutes after FGR went 1-0 up when Cooper decided to put an extra defender on....

Obviously gutted about the result, conceding in injury time after giving away a pointless free-kick, but pleased with the performance. After conceding, we battled hard to get ahead and again we held our own against a really good team. I'd have taken a draw before kick-off.

P.S. Nobody's saying we should be wiping the floor with anybody - we've just had five or six games where we've dropped points purely because of a ridiculous error or a missed open goal.

Aye can’t say they weren’t giving their all as they clearly did and the changes were all about right apart from arguably could have been taking off Legge earlier I guess. Just need a break.

Port Vale desperately need a goalscorer otherwise it will cost them promotion in my opinion.

I liked the look of Rodney but won’t get many goals.

Was saying on our forum Cooper is usually OK with his subs but he got it wrong here, expect he was expecting you to tire like me but you didn't and we were lucky in the end. If we'd kept at you would have perhaps had the win.

Is your number 10 that played against us injured? He looked a better player than a couple of your midfielders that played today in my opinion.

Sickening.

I just don't know what is happening. Legge fucking stupid red, he had been good as well up until then.
Ref garbage again, gave everything that was appealed for except shirt pulling which favoured newport a few times. 6 minutes added on is beyond the pale bad refereeing but it's not like he stuck the ball in the net for them.

We are pretty bad currently but certainly not 4 defeats in a row bad. we could, with any luck at all have gone unbeaten in those games with a couple of wins too.

Yes he is.

As Monkey Tennis says unless you've read it elsewhere I don't think anyone has said we should be pissing the league.

Our game management is awful. It's not about the "what if we didn't do that" anymore that seems to get rolled out every time a mistake costs us points. There's a place for it after the first 7 or 8 games, but no longer now they aren't getting ironed out.

3-0 win against Harrogate, in a game where Danny Johnson had 4 chances and buried 3 of them.

Harrogate dominated possession for long spells, but we undid them with 2 balls over the top to beat their high press for the first 2 goals and Johnson completed his hatrick with a free header from a corner after some seriously poor Harrogate defending. Johnson's second goal was a superb goal, made by his excellent first touch.

Embleton went back to 4-3-3, but decided to play Sam Ling at right back. Thankfully he waited until we was 3-0 up before deciding to switch off.

We didn't have as much possession as we usually do, but we're a side very capable of creating chances still. Danny Johnson, Conor Wilkinson and James Brophy are playing really well for us.

no one has said those words from what I’ve seen, but I’ve read (mainly from chipmunk) so many times that you should have won this game and that game that if true then you should be top of the league.

Hardcastle - yeah, he's been injured a month or so. I think he's our best midfielder too, but we've had much better results without him in the team.

These refs and their bias against Port Vale has to stop

Bolton deserved that win. First half we were outplayed, we were 2-0 down having offered very little. Football was poor, looked to be heading to another lackluster defeat without scoring but Oteh made something out of nothing just before the break, laid the ball back to Pett who made it 2-1. Second half an improvement from our perspective but Bolton were still the more threatening, bar one late effort from Pett which was well saved we didn't really trouble their goal.

I don't like calling for the manager's head as I really like Alex Revell but I don't see us staying up with him in charge. I think it's time for change providing we look to recruit someone from outside the club, with a fresh outlook, who's prepared to try and change the culture at the club.

It's incredibly frustrating watching us at the moment, we were awarded a reprieve we scantly deserved, rather than taking advantage of it we're throwing it away.

Tranmere are average and we’ve just let them score 5 goals. Season is going down the pan very quickly. Summer of penny-pinching bearing fruit now.

David Dunn is at it now. Barrow should have at least 20 points or even more. Just now on BBC Cumbria.

So they should be close to if not top of the league when you deduct these points from the likes of Forest Green, Carlisle, Cambridge and Newport.

Is it. I didn't watch the match but that's only bad refereeing if there's no reason for it. Plenty of matches where six minutes is entirely justified.
Seven substitutions second half, two bookings and a sending off. Six minutes wasn't far off to be honest. Obviously gutting for you to lose in the 96th minute after you battled very hard. Was resigned to a point but Podge had missed a great chance two minutes earlier and we were pressing very hard. We must have had three or four corners in injury time and for the fourth home game this season we grab a late late winner.

Just read that our teams average age this season has been just over 24, with Scunny being the only team with a younger average. Our opponents on Saturday, Tranmere have an average of 29 apparently. Hope it's a heavy pitch in Birkenhead and they all tire!

Too many teams competing to be the shittest at the moment.

Think the game against us is the one game they felt they should have got nothing from. XG though and comments from other fans suggests they're better than league position suggests.
