dissallowed goal for opposition aT Anfield?................no way...........penalty or offside goal to come

I know that you are having some internet problems and probably typed this ten minutes ago mate - I have to say that you were spot on, Liverpool just scored an offside goal and the linesman circumvented the rules to allow it.

Happy to see Benteke get a goal in his first match at Anfield.
We look much more lively after the goal and we have taken over the game after a really poor start.
Yeah I wasn't worried too much about the slow start as Liverpool kind of did that last year before getting going. Looking much better now though.

Welcome to the forum btw.

They are in an impossible situation though, its fractions we're talking about and the rules are changing season on season.

Liverpool controlled the latter stages of the first half after a strong start from Bournemouth.

Poor officiating at two vital points in the game are the deciding factors so far though.

I expect Liverpool to tire Bournemouth out and get another goal or two by the end.

Bournemouth can feel aggrieved with the refereeing decisions in that 1st half. If I was to be harsh I'd say they've set up quite naively, gallant going forwards but they need to be sterner without the ball and set their shape more.

B'mouth fans need to sort themselves out though. Cute effort but FL chants are a no-no. This is the big time boys.

I can't be the only one who can't stand Rodgers "messiah" type celebration when they score a goal?

Bournemouth seemed to fall apart a bit after the Liverpool goal, got to rock your confidence a bit, good goal disallowed and then an offside goal awarded.

Bit of big boy refereeing going on here. However I'd back Bournemouth to do alright this season

Lallana been poor again.

He has yeah, the weak link the that attacking midfield three - is Firminho not fit enough to start yet?

I dunno, Rodger said he is getting there, but he's maybe not confident enough to start him yet. I think he wants to give Lallana game time as well since his season was injury hit last year. He's a good player and I think he can be a success there, but in the opening two games he has offered nothing I'm afraid.

And because he cost you £25m....

Looked like Boruc got a slight touch on that. Great save if so.

Shame that Benteke missed that one.
Still 3p is 3p but I would like is to start much better, especially at home.

Yeah great fingertip save but Benteke shouldn't have given him the chance to get fingertips.

Shit end product to it but liked the idea from the free kick, hadn't seen someone try it before.

At this rate we'll need a bit of Unitedesque fortune to take the points. We're playing some fucking shocking football.

Ask and you shall receive, and then some.

Bournemouth can definitely feel hard done by tonight, Liverpool we're good until the final third and Bournemouth had some very good patches of play. Don't think Bournemouth will go down.

Harsh on Bournemouth, their disallowed goal should've stood and Liverpool's goal shouldn't have.

Another mediocre performance, but essentially another 3 points. And getting maximum points from the first two games was essential with the fixture list from beyond hell we have coming up. I'll be happy with a point next week against Arsenal then we have another must win against West Ham the following weekend. If we can come out of the United game at Old Trafford with 10-11 points it will be a decent start given that we'd have played both Arsenal and United away. Good performance from Bournemouth, who were unfortunate to have their goal disallowed and go 1-0 down. They will stay up with more performances like that though.

I'm hoping the team look a little more solid next week, with all the changes we're still too disjointed and Arsenal will take full advantage of that.
