Despite my pessimism, I was looking forward to watching this. Forgot I'll be at Manchester airport, probably herding a wife and a five year old through the security lines.

Good job you missed it mate, I did warn you that City are wank this year.

Still you are "in the hunt" for another 4 trophies as you put it so every cloud and all that...

And can't wait until Pep sits down with a glass of Merlot this evening to watch this game back in his Bavarian Schloss, who exactly in this side is good enough to play his style of football? 80% of them can't even be arsed closing the opposition down. Can't wait till he gets Sterling running lengths of the local canal. 50mil??

Why did no-one celebrate with Iheanacho?

The squad is the strongest in the league by far but they aren't showing it.
Strongest in the league, "By far"? Apart from Aguero, I can't see who else is that strong? Silva maybe?

They are strong all over the park and have some great players throughout the side, if they'd played to only half the level they are capable of consistently, they'd be a dozen points ahead just now.

Arsenal is the strongest squad mate. City have a handful of good players and have been carried by the brilliance of Aguero this year, by rights they shouldn't even be top 4.

You listen to Sky, BBC and other sporting news outlets too much mate. Their squad really isn't as strong as you might think.

Fernando, Fernandinho, Toure, Clichy, Otamendi, Sterling etc are bench material.

Hart, Kompany, Silver and Ageuro are the top players in that squad. And only one would make it into the Arsenal starting 11 (position for position) and that's Aguero.

Most of that is absolute bollocks.

Silva, Fernandinho, Toure, Kompany would walk into your side ahead of Chamberlain, Coquelin, Ramsey and Metersacker/Gabriel.

One win and Arsenal fans are getting giddy again. Spurs will win it.

City fans are tramps though.

Fernandinho?! Toure?! Where exactly? I said position for position. Ozil>Silva to start with. Kompany had a few good performances, and because city are using his absence as an excuse people like you lap it up. Remember last season? He was a calamity. On form we're the best team in the league, even if we don't win it, we're still the team to beat long term.

I can't believe Silky has something to legit gripe about for once and he's absent.

Excellent point Steven. And yes he does. You see, I happened to overlook him because he's injured. I'd play him on the opposite wing to Alexis.

Thank you mate and I have to agree that an attacking midfield trio of De Bruyne, Ozil and Sanchez is a scary, scary thought.

Sanchez is a great great player; put him in that Villa side and he'd keep them up on his own.

A week to compose yourself and you release that foul and pestilent congregation of vapours.

Maybe you're a City fan after all.
