Some fans are getting fed up with his constant tinkering and chopping and changing for the sake of it mate results are not good so far either some are starting to call for his head now.
Fair enough, he usually starts really poorly before getting good around 10 games so midtable is a decent start for him.

Totally understand the constant changing though, that can be annoying. I still reckon he’ll work out for you, I also hope so as I like Walsall and love Clarke

Perhaps none of you are in jobs where your weekly salary is more than most people get paid a year or is open to public scrutiny. That was certainly the case when he was at Bolton Wanderers. The yearly wage bill at Tranmere last season was about what the League 1 cap now is. I doubt anybody is on more than £3,000 pw. The average in 2017-18 wasnt huge and not much higher in 2018-19. Rovers do not hide their accounts, they are easy to find. We lost money in the National

I suppose its a bit like the lottery winner who can't hide the fact they have a ton of money. If you are getting paid a lot its hard to hide the sudden upgrade in lifestyle. It was a reference to him not being on anything close to what he was getting paid at Bolton by Blackpool and less now. Bolton didnt get into a financial mess by paying low wages.
Please enlighten me how/why Bolton was in debt???????

Surprised Evans ended up at yours, not exactly popular with your fanbase in the past. Didn't he accuse you lot of racism towards him after he clashed with your manager or something?

He did indeed, and reported crowd members to the police before retracting his allegations. Not exactly always truthful is nice Mr Evans.

He literally resigned from Mansfield because he said he was taking a job in China and somehow ended up in Peterborough.

He heard he was going the Far East but they meant within England then!

Wellens is 1/6 to jump ship to Salford. Tbh, if this was pre season I’d be tearing my hair out but now, with a hefty chunk of compo and the prospect of another curtailed season I’m looking at the bigger picture.

Salford, ffs!

Yeah, what a twat! Thought he had more ambition than that, tbh.

Bit of the Doyle syndrome. Close to home, stay with the family, son in the Man Utd youth team - especially with Covid. He has been very prickly lately as well.

Anyway the bookies aren’t always right!

3 games on loan 23 years ago hardly makes much of a Swindon connection. We’ll go for Gareth Barry seeing as he owns half the club anyway!

There is actually a thread on the Notts County Mad site about your manager getting sacked and putting Ardleys name forward....

Just had a look, the absolute nonsense being said about Mansfield is incredible, football fans ignorance never fails to surprise me.

Weird choice for Salford too, although he’s obviously done a good job at Swindon I doubt he was their first choice.

I know they have lots of money, but it’s amateur hour behind the scenes, and I imagine way behind Swindon, but I’m sure they have given him a lot of assurances.

Why would it be a good shout? Because you've heard of him?
Hmmmm lets think maybe 600 plus appearances ..England international from u16 to full international
Played all along the back 4 and midfield.......Never been controversial, comes across as articulate.......
Will have done all is badges.
Rather take a chance on him than someone who been sacked by 10 other clubs

Darrell Clarke might like to come home all yours for decent compensation lads.

I'd love him here but we won't be paying compo for anyone I wouldn't think. I thought from the outside looking in he was doing alright with you lot considering the budget or has that improved this season?

Anyway it'll be interesting to see who makes the final shortlist as loads have applied. I think it will be Adkins/Alexander.

One of the very few ex-Mansfailed managers who left Field Mill and went onto clearly bigger and better things.

I can't believe I just typed that 'Fact', how is that even possible when you have a long history of being Mansfield Town FC :dk:

Let’s leave our non-league friends alone for a while!

If you are looking for non-league managers Dave Challinor from Hartlepool or Gary Johnson from Torquay are decent choices.
