Milton Keynes Dons are pleased to announce a new interim management team who will oversee the side in the coming weeks.

Current First Team Coach and former MK Dons midfielder Ben Gladwin will take charge as interim Head Coach, having rejoined the club in October.

Ben will be joined by former Bournemouth midfielder and Welling United manager Jamie Day, who remains Assistant Head Coach.

Steve Hale will also continue as Goalkeeper Coach, with experience in the role at the likes of Exeter City and Walsall.

MK Dons are also pleased to welcome back former coach Ian Watson, who will be returning to Stadium MK to assist Ben and his team as First Team coach.

The club can now confirm the departure of First Team Coach Carl Laraman, who has left his role alongside Scott Lindsey.

MK Dons will now conduct an extensive and comprehensive interview process ahead of appointing a Head Coach to lead the team next season.

Everyone at Stadium MK is fully behind Ben, Jamie, Steve and Ian, and has every confidence in them ahead of a trip to Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night.

We encourage all our supporters to show their support for the new interim management team either on the road midweek or back at Stadium MK this weekend.

So Ian Watson, Williamson's assistant, back at the club and no announcement on an actual replacement until the summer.

Makes sense, it’s not as if the new man can bring in their own players.

I think it's time Sweeting got the sack at MK too, how many managers have they now gone through with him as director of football in just a couple of years?

Can't believe we tried to get him as our dof, really dodged a bullet there.
Yeah just imagine how shite you’d be doing in the league if you’d got him in.

Gladwin was Crawley's interim head coach when Lindsey left. This copying has gone on too much now.

With us you could tell he didn't want to be there and as soon as a new manager was announced he jumped ship.

Laraman could be a loss though. Very good coach.

Hopefully Gladwin is gaining his spurs until he comes back to Swindon at some stage in the next 18-24 months. Highly thought of here.

Came across well here to be honest...who knows, maybe it will become a permanent thing if he does well...

MK Dons need to adapt more to L2 football than thinking they're too good for that.

But at heart, WABLO - We'll Always Be League One.

We were too good for this league in 2008 and 2019, and for all but 3 years where we got stuck here (2007, 2024, and 2025) of our 21 year existence.

WABLO I tells ya.

Lindeed gave us the new manager bounce today but he's a lucky sid too. We start getting defenders and forwards back from injury just as he returns.

I'm still not a fan of the fist pumping stuff though.

Still reckon we're back here next season but hopefully if we come down fighting we'll have a chance to do well next season.
