My personal opinion is that every single so called TRFC fan calling Mark and Nicola Palios abusive names on social media is a MORON of the highest order. When they took over the club we were going nowhere but down. They were never going to fix things that 1st season and relegation was almost inevitable but without them the club would probably be either bankrupt or a lower level than Chester and Southport by now. People criticise Man City fans for being up themselves but some of ours would be even more unbearable than LFC tellyclappers if we had money to burn. Shameful idiots.
Not our brightest of fans are they. Hope the Palios’s can see past these childish reactions.

Klopp or Guardiola wouldnt make some of our fans happy. Not used to working with a small budget would be that excuse for a whinge.
I wouldn’t swap Dawes and Parkinson with Klopp, such is the impact these two have had.
Was always a big fan of Hills Rochdale teams, played football the right way. A very highly driven individual, should suite us.

Nigel Adderley off the radio is a big fan and reckons his style of play is similar to Kingy. A bit of that would do me fine. Got the Everton game on TV and just noticed the grass in my garden is getting a bit long.

I think the problem was the rumours, supporters actually believed the cowleys or adkins were coming... they got carried away forgetting we are a bottom half of division 4 team. I promise if I put a fake rumour on twitter about vaccines containing microchips people would believe it and get carried away with the story.

I actually called for hill or sol Campbell on our club forum so I'm rather happy with this.

Not Campbell.
His politics is the reason before anybody asks. A club with a caring social conscience is not, and hopefully never will be, a place to welcome a want to be tory MP.

Good luck to Hilly. Hope he meshes smoothly with the coaching team and takes Tranmere back up.

Good to see Beech doing well with Carlisle, too.

Should be fun. Hill is very sensitive and easily rattled, not take long for that to shine through!

Not been an avid Hill-watcher previously but aside from a rant about Man City not loaning Rochdale youth players can’t recall much from him. Any examples of this?

I wouldn’t buy a used car off Keith Hill, remember him selling us George Donnelly for a substantial fee. Perhaps he can repeat the trick at Tranmere and get a fee for George Ray !!!

He turned into Brent in some of his post-match interviews last season. Up there with Holdsworth and Curle's weird and wonderful comments.

Gets upset when about 5 Rochdale fans give him stick.
He's a very sensitive fella.

O dear. If that's correct, afraid Hill won't last long at Rovers unless he develops a thicker skin

If he avoids social media he will be fine because i doubt even with everybodies best wishes he will be seeing much of us in Prenton Park. Sadly there are far too many selfish types out and about to prevent another outbreak of this virus next year before any vaccine is freely available.

McCall gone at Bradford
Can't see bradford appointing a permenant manager at this point, somebody to settle the ship is what they want and assess the situation at the end of the season, someone like graham alexander.

This had to happen but given the same people gave him a contract extension about three weeks ago, it gives you an idea of how unbelievably poorly run things are at the club and have been ever since the German takeover that has crippled us so badly.
New man gets around a fifth of the not yet spent budget to turn things around. The fans choice will obviously be Parkinson but he’s well out of our league now, Hurst, Alexander and Heckingbottom make up the other early bookies favourites. We’ve given ourselves a chance now but getting the right person in is huge.

Alan Nixon saying Lee Turnbull is coming in as our new recruitment (says DoF actually) guy, ex Scunny, suggest maybe Hurst/Alexander?

Woodgate in from 22/1, smacks a bit of someone putting a few quid on a random name and the bookies reacting, not sure his CV, a mostly poor time at Boro, is what we need when we’re in such a perilous state.

You had to do it before you played us!

I seem to recall all the fans saying that recruitment wasn't great in the summer. If you have a dof surely he should get the boot not the coach?

Don't know how other clubs do it but usually when you have a DoF in charge of recruitment it's still the manager or head coach who identifies targets. Maybe McCall identified lots of good targets and the DoF failed to land any of them but I doubt it.
