YOU were embarrassed. Because we lost a game YOU thought we would win. Cuz like, Barnet are at the bottom, right? I was ALWAYS more worried about Barnet than I was about Torquay. Because I actually know a thing or two about football. South Shields? Covid wasn't it? Southport? Best team won, congratulations Southport. See? It's not hard to admit the other side played well and won, if you really try, it doesn't always mean your team is shit. Do you think you could manage that? It's obvious what your problem is- arrogance! You think The Shaymen are so fantastically good, they can only get beat if they play shit. They giving the other hand a bit of respect, do you think bear to do that, huh? Arselicker. :woot:
Yes because Barnet are getting battered by everyone else in the league yet we lost. How come everyone else can manage it. You want to open your eyes more often and stop living in clowd cuckoo land.

Your calling me an arselicker when your the happy Clapper. Boy that's rich.

You know more about football. You wouldn't know football if one slapped you in the face.

Now please go play with traffic.

Not quite as bad as when Ian Holloway was our manager, after every defeat he was “proud of his players” including after the 3-1 defeat at Dagenham in the cup.

You’ll be happy to know we haven’t beaten anyone by more than 1 goal in the league this season and apart from smashing Ebbsfleet 5-2 in the trophy Grimsby is our second biggest win!

As for tonight game at home to Maidenhead who knows if we will win, home form this season remains terrible.

It’s bad enough when people from opposing teams bitch with each other, but the same team? :ffs:

Well back onto football, key battle at the bottom between ourselves and King's Lynn tonight. The latter have furloughed extra players since Saturday whilst bringing in Simeon Jackson so both teams are going to be down to the absolute bare bones.

Ross Lafayette and Danny Parish started as a pair in the reverse fixture and seemed to cause the Linnets back line a few problems, with us being at home I'd like to see us go down that route again as Parish is completely ineffective up front on his own.

Sounds like Notts County have purchased a new team for the occasion.
Well Notts County we have 2 modes. Fantastic incisive play or utter car crash. Place your bets. There isn't a single Halifax fan that knows which one is going to show up.

A point wouldn't be a bad one for us. Especially since the majority of our remaining games are at home.
They just raise their game for the important ones, like Wealdstone

I'd happily take a point tonight however we haven't drawn a game since November.

I don’t understand why Wealdstone have took such interest in the pre match comments. We did owe you one after we lost to you at our place. Nothing out of the ordinary

Let’s hope the Halifax players get on as well as the Halifax fans do on here...

We‘ve played well about 3 times this season, no reason to expect a 4th time tonight, 0-0

Nothing personal from me at least, it was up to the players to do it on the pitch, we didn't and that's that.

To be fair, most sides have caused the Linnet's back line problems - basically looked like an accident waiting to happen in many, many games this season and injury and now furlough is unlikely to help matters this evening. That said we have shown glimpses over the past month that we are starting to get to grips with the jump in standard although furlough will again set us back. I think we are just looking to see the season out and hope we are still here come the start of 2021/22

Just saw the stats for both teams’ last fifteen games on Twitter, talk about a contrast!

Scored:
Notts 17
Halifax 33

Conceded:
Notts 8
Halifax 23
Please can someone do our stats, just to brighten up everyone’s day...

0-0 banker. “Another clean sheet and a solid point”.

I would be surprised if we managed to score 0.

I’m expecting more of the same - nil ideas going forwards, useless at the back from any cross or set piece, little to none meaningful possession.

I cannot wait for this one!

We won't score. If we do it'll be because you gifted us it.

These 2 Halifax lads are the btec stocky and Harrogate fan. That was more dramatic than this. Offering him out on the tennis courts. Calling him stumpy and flabby ha ha ha. Brilliant viewing that. These 2 are shite

Have Solihull furloughed their 1st team? 4-0 down after 28 mins at home to Stockport - and down to 10 men!

Stockport County.
Red card changes the game. Not been the best damaged limitation exercise by them so far though.

Awful, awful defensive error by Max Hunt gifts Sutton the opener.

And we still played Keatesball that whole half. We'll grind this out from here no doubt, when if we just played a bit of passing football we'd get 3 or 4.
