Any idea when this starts again in the UK? It is normally around August but I couldn't see anything and too scared to google as it is on (or already finished) in Aus now and don't want it ruined.

Edited as might as well tag shane as you appear to be the only person watching it.

I'm like you and am too afraid to google it as I've been burned that way before. However, I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere thats its on in the UK in September....?

Started yesterday. I haven't seen it yet but the opening shows that Nigella Lawson and Gordon Ramsay are on it this year. Literally only seen a bit of the intro.

I go away for 3 weeks in October, going to come back to around 15 episodes to get through.

I missed last night as well and probably won't see this evening either. To be honest, I'm only interested once they know who is going to be competing. The first few shows are the try outs and I'm not that bothered with those that don't make it.

Looking forward to ticking off the list once the contestants are chosen:

1. Older female contestant who is stuck in her ways and consistently refuses to take advice.
2. Wacky Asian contestant, usually a small woman with big glasses who constantly smiles and claps.
3. Burly Aussie man who ALWAYS wants to do some form of steak and chips.
4. Young hipster contestant who mainly produces "deconstructed" dishes.
5. The female contestant who goes into meltdown when ever being confronted with a decision.
6. The contestant "from a big family". Usually a woman of mediterranean descent who never stops talking about sitting down to dinner with her family
7. Male contestant whose family don't approve.
8. Lesbian contestant.

Some pretty decent cooking so far. Watching it after it being recorded is the way forward, get to skip so much guff.

"It's been a hard yeah" yeah fuck off, fast forward. I want to see if you can make ice cream not hear about your cat.

Looks like they will try to be keeping it fresh this year though, being the 10th series. Some really annoying contestants though, so hopefully they get booted out ASAP.

You're dead wrong mate. Its the annoying contestants that make the show!

The angling for an emotional trigger point with every contestant is becoming more tedious every year.

Not sure how far you got but episode 5:

The 50s style woman with the red hair puts out the most hilariously shit looking dish I think theres ever been on Masterchef. AND DOESN'T EVEN GET PUT IN THE PRESSURE TEST.

In fairness, I got that one. There were some terrible dishes there but in her defence, her dish was the one that had the best surprise. A dish that looks like something it isnt is very Heston and all the others were rubbish.

One had two lots of shit balls. One didn't have a surprise and I cannot remember the other one. At this stage, I guess they have to go by potential a little bit.

Btw, no idea if I needed to spoiler this. You had seen it and pretty sure it is only you and I watching it
