We haven't had a problem taking away followings anywhere else in the league. I think because it is their first competitive home game they aren't allowed to fill the ground but even so a 4400 capacity is just way too small.
I have probably missed discussions on the FCUM ground, or maybe they took place before I joined the forum, but do they have plans to expand the ground if they get promoted. It looks like interest in the club is likely to lead to some sell outs, as is the case with Maidstone, pretty amazing for the sixth tier of football!

Another matchday thread another important game missed...

St Ives vs AFCR&D

Both teams drew their opening games 1-1, though this isn't as big a coincidence as you might think as 5 of the opening 11 games had this scoreline! An additional 0-0 means Diamonds come in to the game placed 7th due to alphabetical order with St Ives down in 13th. We'll be missing a couple of defenders for this game, but hopefully those who step in will make sure there isn't a drop in standard.

Difficult game to call, as most are this early in the season in a new division! Just got to hope we perform well and don't come back empty handed against a side experienced at this level.

Probably a good time to write my first (proper) post on here.

Braintree is a side we've regularly beaten over the last 3 years- and usually quite comfortably at that too! With a potentially tough month ahead It'll be nice to get a win tonight to get off the mark before Eastleigh on saturday.

First home game for us tonight, against what will be a much improved Welling side. Obviously it will be a special game for our coaching staff, with both Pennock and Day having managed them and Withington having been a coach there.

Expect us to be unchanged and to grind out another hard fought win.

Hearn starts, hopefully will be lively enough to feed off the fat lump's knock-downs.

Just arrived at Whaddon Road after a nightmare journey from Brum. Fully expecting my day to go from bad to worse after Saturday's performance.

Three changes for us. Hearn for the injured Simmons, Bush for the ill Wood and Nolan for Sparrow. Beevers to RB.

Hoping we're more of a 4-4-2 diamond than a 4-3-3. Hearn needs to be central.

Nobody can see a thing from the away end, that has just had stones thrown over into it. Also they are singing songs about hating City and the Busby Babes.
Can someone tell me why this club are media darlings?

Ex Harrier Jamie Grimes scores, didn't get one goal for us in his career here but scores on only his second game for Dover typical
