We may still get a 'best of three' triple-header at the end of this horrible season, and we'll be able to judge better...
I'm not saying Gowling is better or McNulty is better. Just that this notion that McNulty is substantially better than Gowling is ridiculous. Looking at games played:goals conceded this season backs this up too. Gowling 29:22 to McNulty 20:20, unless I have counted wrong. For the record though, Shaun Pearson is better than both of them!

Sounds like our match at Aldershot was really really boring. Still, another point gained.

Huge game Tuesday now.

You are one of the reasons why I can't be bothered with forums. Give decent fans a bad name.
Don't let an opinion based on one person put you off. There are plenty of decent posters on this forum, with many differing views, from a wide range of clubs. As far as forums go this one isn't too bad, once you sort the wheat from the chaff!

Not particularly, still probably seen Orient the most this season although Dagenham and Wycombe run them close.

As for the Higdon comment, he's obviously got previous pedigree but today literally all he did was rip Raggett's shirt - completely dominated by him otherwise. Whilst we're talking about good centre halfs, Raggett has to be up there.

Second half was more even, Tranmere improved signicantly with the formation change and really either side could have gone on to win. Raggett hitting the bar was the closest either side came, but despite a 0-0 it was a fairly enjoyable game, especially the second half.

Raggett has some quality games like he did yesterday, and he scores a few goals - deserved one yesterday. Has some absolute shockers though. He'll play league football next season

Looked to me that you were happy to come for a point, and we obviously were going to approach the game cautiously after Tuesday. 2nd half we attacked a bit more and had a few half chances but your keeper made a couple of good saves to keep it 0-0. That said it would have been harsh if we nicked it I think.

Watched Brabin's interview. I hate it when managers unfairly criticise a referee "I don't think we had one decision that went our way all game"... Erm, Higdon has quite literally ripped the shirt off of Raggett on numerous occasions without anything getting given. Then goes on about how "400 fouls committed by the opposition and no bookings, one by us and a booking". Should point out the card count was three to Dover and two to Tranmere... Tranmere also committed more fouls... (18 v 19).

The BBC's report on the Dover v Tranmere game said it was a drab match with the highlight being when the ref got injured. Glad I missed this one!

Yep glad I made I made the decision to go to Kidderminster instead.

Radio Kent commentary made the second half sound quite exciting. That said, I'm glad I opted for the Half Man Half Biscuit gig in Holmfirth instead.

It wouldn't be a Brabin post-match interview if the referee wasn't the main topic of conversation. If he was running true to form, most of the game he'd be spending berating the fourth official too. Radio Kent commentary did highlight one bad foul by Payne midway through the second half, when the commentator thought he might even have seen red, though also mentioned Kinnear junior being booked for his first foul, after he'd taken some stick.

The referee was terrible but definitely didn't give more to Dover than Tranmere. Tranmere got a free kick when there wasn't a Dover player within 5 yards of the bloke who went down.

Tranmere CBs were all over Miller most of the game and he got nothing

The second ref was appalling, had no control over the game. Wasn't biased and didn't affect the game at all though.

The save your keeper made after the ref blew for offside was unbelievable

On the subject of refs, we had a guy called Jason Whiteley yesterday, and he had a very good game.
Big, bald guy, looked like a bouncer and didn't stand for any nonsense. Refreshing change from the terrified teenagers that usually pass for a ref in this league.

Disappointing to hear Southport have decided they fancy a tilt at our Conference North title next year after all, but hopefully the head start we've given ourselves will see off their challenge. Seriously, wtf goes on at that club? :bdick:
