Has this been sent to the local Aldershot rag so they can warn all residents to board up windows, lock up daughters, and flee the town?

Also get Danny Dyer on the blower for what looks could be a pwoppa nawty away day.

Is that why you only brought 30 max to us last saturday? Just asking like

Reece Styche is a top lad...

Said no one, ever.

Says someone who's never met him. On the pitch he makes a bit of a prat of himself at times, but off it he's great with fans, always willing to chat and sign autographs/take pictures with the kids including one little girl with special needs who he was always fantastic with (he was her favourite player). He's also helped out on the clubs open day before, along with Al Bangura which he didn't have to do, but he did in order to help promote the club.

Don't judge people without knowing them.

Looking forward to tomorrow. It'll be my first Derby match since we've been at this level as I have been away at Christmas for the past few seasons and couldn't make the game last season.

Should be a great atmosphere but as Lew says, it all depends on what's going on in the weird and wonderful mind of Paul Hurst as to how much of a chance we have of winning. Surely he must start with Amond and hopefully he's realised that Toto is not a right-back.

I do think he'll stick with Robinson over Clay in centre-mid. Despite looking like a little boy lost in the first half against Torquay, Robinson did improve substantially in the 2nd half but I would still play Clay ahead of him any time.

I wouldn't begrudge the heavy majority of the Grimsby posters on here three points either, bar possibly one, they're a top set of people.
Eastleigh Fan is not a Grimsby supporter, silly....... ;) ;)

Children, please. I want a nice, civilised derby.

(LOL jk, Liam Hearn to score, Grimsby fans to commence shelling.)

FWIW, I think it'll be a Grimsby win and BTTS. I'm not sure whether I'm just being pessimistic, but something just doesn't feel quite right with our squad. On the face of it, it's quite balanced in terms of positions, bar another striker that we need. It lacks something in midfield, for me.

Even forgetting that, Howe and Waterfall at CB have apparently been all over the shop in the last 2 games, particularly last week.

Unless I finish work much earlier, I'll not be there and instead be sitting on the lawnmower.

It all depends on the weird and wonderful selection Hurst dreams up tonight. Unfortunately I won't be there. There's guaranteed goals if both sides starts to the season are anything to go on. It's definitely a pivotal game already for us, it genuinely will set the mood for the coming few weeks. A loss and Hurst is massively on the back foot in terms of support for him.
What's the crack with Hurst then? Does he have too much choice in his squads or changes things to negate the opposing as opposed to remembered he'll have one of the best squads and just doing what you do best?

I'm not really sure what he was playing at on Saturday because Torquay are a big side, yet he stuck Arnold up top and attempted to use Bogle as a target man. He does have this horrible habit of trying to counter their strengths rather than play to ours.

It seemed to be a warning to the players not to get complacent, which is fucking ridiculous imo because it cost us 3 points instead. Not only that but it's not even like we played badly at Alty, it was a goal that didn't even go in and a goalkeeping error. I'm sure top scorer Padraig Amonds morale went through the roof when he was told he was benched. He randomly drops certain players on a regular basis and I'm yet to remember a time where it's worked out. But he'll keep doing it regardless and I'm absolutely sure that alone will eventually cost him his job if he doesn't cut it out now.

No one seems to know what his thoughts were before the Torquay game. Ok, we lost the previous game at Altrincham but that was only to a "ghost goal" and a massive error of judgement by James McKeown, and we had enough chances to have won comfortably on another day, but he proceeds to drop 4 players from the team, including our top goalscorer (Amond) and a midfielder who had been man-of-the match in the 3 games before Altrincham, in favour of a loanee who only met his team mates the day before. He also played centre-half Toto Nsiala at right-back. Yes he has played there in the past but he's a centre-half and should only be used as a right back for emergency cover really.

Not surprisingly we went 2-0 down but Toto went off injured so our usual right-back came on and Amond was brought on during the 2nd half and we manage to rescue a point from the game. Hopefully he'll not be so flippant with his team selection tomorrow.

Please don't think we are all like the poster that Slaphead quoted.
We deserver'd our win and Shots fans were very quiet 2nd half. fact

True, we were shambolic in the game last season, think it was the hangover effect from our game vs Pompey 3 days earlier.
However to say you've got 'the best 12th man in the league' is just laughable!!
Got a feeling we'll beat £astleigh tomorrow, last weekend will have given the lads a lot of confidence. Looking forward to Eastleigh bringing 170 again for their biggest derby of the season!

I think very hard game for us but Holman and Goddard always can bring us a win, very hard to predict but I think draw is most probably result

Nope, that's because we've got piss poor support and not so blinded by Vision that we can't see it.

Well done on a massive 1,900 crowd though on your "Community Day".

I really don't know why Wrexham fans are nervous.

Our away record in this league is beyond dire and add that to our run of 1 win in 20 and we're looking at a massive spanking.

Made the trip up so we'll definitely lose!!

This is exactly the kind of match that Wrexham are likely to mess up and their fans will stop getting erections over Mills.

0-1, Wrexalona back to earth with a thud.

I didn't say you didn't and we were, embarrassingly so.

But I had to post that.... I mean, best 12th man in the league....:eyes::bdick:
The 10 they brought to The Shay on a Tuesday night while going for a play off place last season were outdone by 1 Town fan with a megaphone. :fl:

I'd like to think Rovers won't be as poor as the Boreham Wood game, but not confident of that. Suppose it's a good time to be playing Altrincham with all their injury problems, but not expecting an easy ride. Draw most likely result.

Its quite possibly the kick up the a**e we needed , it may show the team we need to fight in this division... Hopefully it will be a positive in the long term

Im a little nervous because Halifax have been decent over the last two seasons. If they are as bad as it sounds like this season then we will spank them.

Goes without saying, but we need a much better performance tomorrow than the one we produced against Boreham Wood. Dont know much about Altrinchams team, but it sounds as though they have a lot of injuries so we have to go and win. Win and we're back on track, lose and our fans will be in meltdown.

Looks like there'll be around 1500 Tranmere fans there tomorrow now pay on the gate is available so should be a decent atmosphere, just hope it doesnt rain. First ever visit to Altrincham so looking forward to it, will be my last match until Christmas as well so getting there for 11 and making the most of it.

Why? Did you meet him off the pitch? Were you at Luton when he came in with the away fans and led the chanting?

You might not have rated him as a player, but ask any FGR fan who actually know the bloke and they'll tell you what a great lad he is.

Did he give you the essential fourth for a barbershop quartet?
