Matchday thread titles

Why is it that lower league sides get to put funny/strange names for match day threads, yet when I try to do one in the Premier League forum, it is changed to a generic 'Swansea Vs Aston Villa'???

Are the rules different lower down the leagues, or is someone on here just being a boring bastard?

Not being arsey, but surely it should be the same rules all around, not one rule for the lower leagues, and one for the Premier League???

Can we get the kick off times and dates included in the match day titles? I know it's a bit extra work but it makes them more informative while archiving the threads more efficiently.

Happy for the Premier League to be as corporate and on message (or not) as they like BUT HANDS OFF OUR THREAD TITLES.

For one thing, they offer a great insight into the character, attitude and wit (or absence of same) of the initial poster.

Can we get the kick off times and dates included in the match day titles? I know it's a bit extra work but it makes them more informative while archiving the threads more efficiently.

On a more serious note - surely an archive can be searched quite adequately by date and content these days without needing to catalogue titles?
