Get the fuck in, nothing like a late equaliser to win the title!!!

4 games to spare as well, now we can really relax and go on holiday

Another depressing post-Christmas slump complete! We're so predictably boring.

Thought we were in with a chance, ear pressed to the radio listening for the Grimsby score, then they go and score. Tears all around the ground for what might have been.
Fair play to The Mariners, fully deserving the title...onwards and upwards.

Hold on, so Cheltenham were in pole position to win this again before they decided to grab a equaliser at Lincoln? Makes no sense at all :dk:

Nice try :told: but it was never in your hands, win lose or draw. It was Cheltenham's to lose which they did.

Whoa there Vanni old boy, instead of criticising the bottling runners up how about praising the winners of GTFC for our consistent lack of effort to claim this title, the manager even going to great lengths of falling out with our top scorer to make sure that no cheeky wins were thrown in in the last 8 games so that we could go all out for this.
I thought Wembley 2016 couldn’t be topped but this comes close.
Very very proud of these boys.

Never theirs to lose, we wanted it more

Don't know if you're kidding or not but this is serious stuff and should not be taken lightly :shifty: It was in their hands, irrespective of what happened elsewhere, and all they had to do was get beat at Lincoln. What happened at Morecambe wouldn't have changed a thing if they had lost the game.

Anyway, congrats Grimsby. Onwards and upwards etc.

Massive mid-table 6 pointer tomorrow. Swindon vs Crewe. We need to win to keep our hopes of a top 10 finish alive, Swindon on the other hand will be dreaming of the dizzy heights of 9th.

With Swindon intent on stamping their bang-averageness on the rest of the league by ending the season with a series of draws, we need to up our game as Notts and Yeovil weren't much of a test and we could be in for a shock if Swindon show any sort of footballing ability.

We haven't won at Swindon since Hulse, Ashton, Jack and Jones absolutely tore them a new one in 2002. In the last couple of visits we've lost 4-3, makers of our own downfall in both. I'd be surprised if we get anything tomorrow but we're a notorious fair-weather side so could be in for a good performance with the sun out.

Rumours circulating that Extinction Rebellion will be turning up to camp on the magic roundabout if Owen Dale doesn't get a start.

We’re at home to Carlisle today and I’m struggling to contain my excitement for this one.

Surely they'll all be supporting fgr

Nah, they have bigger fish tofu pieces to fry these days. The lack of Owen Dale opportunities may not concern people of Artell's generation but if we want our kids to see Owen Dale in 10 years time he needs to start getting more game time immediately.

Found this thread and indeed Grimsby are the holders with apparently Cheltenham the previous winners.
