Hoping to get to tranmere (it’s not far from manchester haha) but if I don’t make it I might try that I follow too, though my laptop is crap.

Id be surprised if we lost to tranmere, we’ve looked solid and I’d be expecting 4-6 points from tranmere and Macc away this week (which means we’ll lose both)
We’re down to the bare bones in terms of numbers. Playing some really decent football though, really need to get a good centre mid in on loan or we could struggle to keep our better players in their favoured position.

Norwood will score a worldie and miss two one on ones.

As you're starting to find out, this is a tough league. Play all the nice football you want, but if you don't take your chances you'll get punished a lot more then in non-league. Plus there's the transfer window, which you wont be used too. Being down to the bare bones already is pretty naive.

Always difficult for ex-non leaguers like yourselves to adjust. I'd imagine you'll be delighted to get to 50 points as quickly as you can?

This banter is weak. Not on the level of Wrexham fans but still.

Usually, like ourselves - when you come back up you're in a much better place than you were when you went down/

I'd expect Tranmere to be solidly mid-table tbh

Mansfield at home was one of the really low points of our previous stay in League Two. I believe they had no fit strikers and came to PP playing a 4-6-0 formation. Killed the game, one of the most non-League performances I've ever seen and we were still so terrible we couldn't break them down. It was also the first official game of Micky Adams' time as boss.

Surely, even with our injury crisis, we cannot have such a poor spectacle again?

Hoping for a win, but a draw against one of the favourites wouldn't be a disaster given the injury crisis enveloping our squad.

I went to that game - it was utterly and completely dreadful.

We had no forwards for the game as you point out, so we camped in our penalty area for 90 minutes. We're in a much better place than that now, thankfully

We're in a much better place than then too, but we're not quite as far down the road to recovery as yourselves. Thought you'd have gone up under Evans but you've got the squad to do so this year surely?

We've scored in 29 consecutive games, so fancy us going forwards, but we concede daft goals and can't see us keeping a clean sheet against your strikers. I'd take a point.

Depends if you close us down and give us no time on the ball - we looked clueless against Colchester when they did that to us on Saturday - give us time on the ball and/or play passing football, and it'll suit us down to the ground

We would have gone up if he didn’t leave with twelve games left.

As shown by Yeovil, we have some vulnerability at the back despite having really good players for this level they are still adapting to the three at the back formation.

That being said we have scored 12 goals including the cup game already this season so a big threat at the other end.

Away to Bastard Franchise Scum for us.

Thankfully I'm working 'til 6pm so won't be putting any money into the thieves pockets.

I'll take a draw now.

I've seen us play them four times away from home, all in different locations: Crystal Palace, National Hockey Stadium, Wembley and their new home in MK (two defeats, one win and a draw). Not going on Tuesday though. Hope we crush um, but a draw would do!

If we were playing Colchester at their ground in League One = Automatic win.

But we've had two stinkers there since relegation. Think our lack of pace at the back will see us get well beaten tomorrow. Especially if Hunt starts.

Weren't they still called Wimbledon when they were playing at Palace. I went to that one too, A 3 all draw I think in front of just over 1000 fans (about 400 Mariners) Strange atmosphere that day, although I suppose it did prepare us a bit for The Conference. I must also admit to going to The Hockey Stadium when we beat them 2-1 (Danny Boshell 25 yarder winner) but I didn't actually pay for my ticket that day though. Didn't get to Wembley as I was in hospital about to have my head carved open the next day and I've never been to their new ground.

I don’t think you can say Rovers’ defeat at the weekend was totally down to Harris. However, not replacing Norburn has come back to bite us, as Gilmour or any extra kid we get on loan are likely to struggle. I’d move Jennings into central midfield alongside Banks and start with Smith and Mottley-Henry. Would settle for a point off the Stags but fear we’ll probably lose.

Expect us to play well tomorrow night, maybe even outplay Newport and get a draw. Maybe even another 0-0 which will keep the anxious mob ticking over till Saturday at Lincoln!

Swindon at home tonight. Not there myself as I'm going to watch the grass grow for some excitement.

We ain't bad just very dull, we also tend to let in soft goals so I can see a 1-2 win to Swindon and Kewell bemoaning ...well just about everything except himself and his tactics.

No, just 95%.......
We won the play-off final with 10 men and scraped a draw at Torquay with 9 men, so getting a result in those circumstances can be done. Harris’ foul was stupid, butI don’t recall Ridehalgh, Norwood or McNulty getting such bile for their errors of judgement.

Tranmere's discipline could ultimately be what costs them in their bid for survival if they don't quickly sort it out. Can't get away with getting a load of red cards at this level, teams will punish you.

I think we'll lose which will prompt Nolan and Hardy to go all out to actually address the fact we have no ball winning midfielders. They may even go as far as to sign a keeper who can actually command his area? It's a sad state of affairs when Carlisle have a better keeper sitting on their bench, and I do not rate Collin at all

It can be done, but if you take Saturday on it's own. We were 2-0 up after 15 with Swindon crumbling every time we got the ball. If Harris hadn't have got sent off I am 99.99999% certain we would not have lost that game.

To be fair that's what Hewitt did pretty well last season, and won awards for it. He seems to have been written off by some on the basis of a poor game at Cambridge and a game when he played of his his (current) position v Yeovil. I hope to see him back in midfield tonight, don't know what that means for RB tho.

Trust me we've had 2 goal leads against Swindon the last two times we were down there and still lost both games. They just have this weird knack of always getting a home win out of us, Vale, Shrewsbury and yourselves no matter how badly they play. I don't know what they have against clubs from this neck of the woods but it sure does work for them!

I always believe in a comeback as long as we're attacking the Town End second half as opposed to the empty Stratton Bank.

Seen many goalkeepers and defences look decent first half then go to pieces when they switch ends.

Sadly those days have diminished significantly since Di Canio left and our stadium tends to be more like a library now.

You attacked the Stratton Bank in the second half against us last season and still managed to come back from 3-1 down against us ffs.

Oh. Well then I'm stumped.

But I still remember Hulse and Ashton doing us over 0-3 when you had a quality side at this level so the 4-3's can be payback for that.
