I think the point people are missing with the timing of brabin departure is that Mellon was not available earlier in the season so to me the timing of his departure was perfect if it had been earlier we may not have got micky

Quite the opposite in terms of luck.

Lucky teams don't score 5-10 goals in the final 2 minutes of games, that's quality and determination showing when it matters. Ferguson built an empire on it.

We're not struggling at all. We just have poor finishing. Outplaying every team we come across and raising our game to the level it needs to be at to win. There's always that extra gear in our locker, which is why we score so many late goals.

Great result tonight after a reasonable performance away at Lincoln on Saturday for no reward. Much needed as the gap to the bottom four was narrowing after our recent form.

i do find it interesting how people who don't attend our games seem to know that our wins have come about through luck

Our results against bottom half sides are fairly decent. It's opponents at the top end of the table who cause us difficulty. I can see us dropping points against the Shots and FGR. However at least Lincoln are being made to battle for their title.

Would add that our pitch does us no favours at home with Cray Wanderers, Palace Ladies and Millwall Under 23s playing there too. Luckily its being replaced with 3G for next season.
