I'd agree SoC but without your midfield it results in a poor overall performance.
Still 3 points and another win so can't grumble too much.
Oh yeah, for sure. The fact that you can't pick out a midfielder as being a standout performer in a 2-0 home win is a little concerning. The Disley/Clay partnership has served us well, but it does seem to have been getting a little stale recently. I thought Henderson was gonna feature and shake that up a bit or Scott Brown was to be (rightly or wrongly) more than partially forgiven for his criminal offences. Not as concerned about the wide men as Monkhouse was nursing a bit of an injury and Arnold eventually proved his worth.

Our players should be well rested today, having not played Boxing Day. Dale Bennett is back so we should win comfortably.

Will be good to shout abuse at DH again.

True but then I think our midfield has been the weak point every season down here.

Anyway nice to see a win for probably my only game this season depends when i get back in April. Lets hope its to celebrate promotion! Still think the title is there for the taking but need Cheltenham to go through a bad patch.

And so another arse-tearing begins. Vision 1-0 Shots, Payne penno. Shocking decision though apparently.

My favourite man in the world Kingsley James scores after Tuton had squandered a couple of excellent chances and Burrow hit the bar.

Us and Wrexham about as competent as each other then. Our game in a few weeks will be such a spectacle.

Have their fans realised that Sean Newton can't defend yet then? And that Jon Nolan is a waster?

Expected defeat. Blaine Hudson has to be the worst CB in the league, no idea why Mills is persisting with him and even worse moving Smith to right back to accommodate him.

Oh dear.

Halifax are starting to take control now, unless we see a reaction at HT I can only see one winner here. Also, good to see Halifax still kick people up in the air all game despite a change in manger. Wouldnt want them to desert their principles.

Who would you play at Right back? Mills obviously doesn't see Carrington as being an option there, I've never been convinced by White as a RB personally.

Spot on MD. Never rated him when he was with us. Only good thing he has is his height and (sometimes)headers.

Carrington has played there on and off for about 3 seasons so it's certainly a better bet than moving Manny Smith out of position. Anything to get Hudson out of the team frankly, play with 10 if need be.

Two teams desperately trying not to concede by not bothering to attack.

Well I agree. For some reason Mills doesn't! Smith is an excellent CB and a slow below average full back . I dont think Hudson is as bad as some make out but he's very erratic. I'm not at the game today but he seems to be having another poor game.

Does Mills also tell Hudson to go forward and play as striker for hoof balling when you're chasing the game? That's what we used to do with him, far too many times for my liking.

Bit rich given that Evans apparently should have walked.
