According to someone on our forum, Cooper was on Talksport last night saying that FGR are going to give loads of free tickets away to try and get over 10k fans at Wembley. Seeing as we'll get a proportion of the money they spend on those tickets, I'm not massively against it, but it's a bit tinpot if true! Rent-a-crowd.

Surely the only way that would increase their attendance would be by giving the tickets to people who wouldn't go if they had to pay. Plenty of Tranmere fans in the same boat. It's a rip off from start to finish, and the cost can be a major obstacle for some families.

You do know this is a Division 5 forum? Most teams down here would have a week-long village fete with running duck racing and welly throwing and everything if they came 2nd in Div 4!
