Our players (Liam Hughes and Alex Ray-Harvey) at our recent awards night. It must be a thing.

Some Darlo fans are actually in favour of it? Wow.

And I thought Pompey fans wanting that former Disney guy to take over was bizarre. Do people not learn from their mistakes?

So your saying we should never trust anyone ever again? The guy is credible, famous, charitable, successful, has been over to watch us many times, hosted a conference/presentation for all shareholders to attend at the Portsmouth Guildhall and brought his 2 brothers and colleague along with him. He drank and mingled with fans before the Cheltenham game at a pub and instead of watching the trophy parade/presentation the next day he was watching Pompey ladies (who aren't even owned by us instead).

Famous? Successful? Ffs  Is that all it takes for you to sell your soul ONCE AGAIN?! And he even had a drink with the fans?! Jeez, sign the club over to him RIGHT NOW!

It might turn out well but it could turn out equally as disastrous - that's the risk you take when you let random rich guys who have no connection to you whatsoever take control of your club. The fact that I'm having to tell a Portsmouth fan this is simply staggering. There will be no sympathy from me when you have the collection buckets out again.

The 2 teams demoted from the EFL to next season's National League: Leyton Orient and Hartlepools are both new to the league. When was the last time that happened?

I went to our defender Josh Coulson's testimonial dinner the other day and saw Hughesy there. He's quite one for fashion - his braces were something else....

Just a shame he seems more bothered about fashion than football.

I'm not having anyone slagging him off, the man scored the most important goal in our recent history and was s vital part of our team when we finally got promoted. Plus he came through our youth team and you're always more protective of "your own".

He's a limited player technically but always put a good shift in and was very versatile - he played up front, right midfield, centre midfield, right back, centre back and even in goal.

He's a legend frankly and he can dress how he wants in my book. ;-)

This is the problem - he never really puts in a shift. Started okay, but faded badly, and would definitely have been released if he didn't have a year left on his contract. Played mostly right midfield (but also made a cameo in goal), but all he was good for is for being a target for goal kicks.

Sunderland agreeing to kick the ball out in 26th minute to give John Terry a send off..

..should also get done for spot fixing.

Fail to see this at all. In fact been a laughable over reaction by folk.

Idiots banging on are the same who whinge about players not showing loyalty and commitment to clubs.

In this case the last of a breed of home grown, 700+ appearances, 22 years, more trophies than the whole of sorry Merseyside combined during his career.
In a game with nothing to play for, who gives a shit for the sake of a minute spent saying goodbye to a player we will look back on as being the last of a breed.
Your post is as tinpot as thst Wembley performance from your lot.

The mention of SPOT FIXING is by far the worst bit. Do people even know what spot fixing is?! As if Terry did it just for betting purposes.

My only issue with it is that it was all organised by Terry himself - best comment I saw: "it's like arranging your own whip-round when you leave a job".
Oh, that and the fact he's a massive c***.

It's even worse than that. It's like organising and interrupting a meeting with another company on your last day just so they can walk to the exit and wave you off.

The self importance of the wanker is just staggering.
