Can us signing Simon Lenighan be classed as tinpot? I could use much stronger words than tinpot though.

Dulwich Hamlet were banned by the National League from wearing their brand new kit at the start of the season because the National League logo was printed on the left sleeve instead of the right sleeve. Therefore two complete sets of twenty home and twenty away shirts had to be reordered and the originals have been sold off to supporters.

Peak Tinpot this.

Russian club FC Ufa have sensationally revealed that they may need to forfeit their Europa League tie giving Rangers instant access to the UEL Group Stages. There is a concern over British Visas, the club hope they will be fast-tracked in time.

Celebrating a draw at Wrexham like you've just won the FA Cup.

Yes I'm bitter.

It was their cup final, obscene amount of effort put in. They'll be back losing at home to Havant & Waterlooville on Monday of course.

Cup Final?!! Absurd entry to this thread, ironically a very tinpot claim.

It’s the standard response from an ex-league club when a traditional non-league club has the nerve to celebrate getting a late equaliser/winner. Nothing to worry about just a coping mechanism

We got called tinpot by a Peterborough fan on here for HAVING THE NERVE to celebrate an 84th minute equaliser in the FA Cup 2nd round.

I bet your team of milkmen, Bank workers, Labourers and binmen couldn't believe it though.

It was, is and always will be one of the GREATEST moment of their lives.

(only slightly trumped by their late consolation goal at the Vic last season)

The only reason we've been in the Conference North for six years is we refuse to lower ourselves by putting in any effort against these tin pot village teams, all for the prize of playing more tin pot village teams in the National.
That'd be well sad.

This is where you need to look at the bigger picture though, ok a promotion to the National League means still playing a load of tinpot nobodies but then you’re one step closer to a glorious return to the Football League and some proper glamour ties against Crawley, Stevenage, Morecambe, and Forest Green Rovers.

Kick off delayed 15 minutes. Suppose it’s what you have to expect in this division, visiting provincial village sides.
