You knew they would. It's too obvious.

It's embarrassing. It's not even a derby in the strictest sense.

Our derby is with Gloucester City, it always has been and always will be, regardless of how far apart the clubs may be in stature. As much as I want to win tomorrow night, there's no animosity with FGR. I used to go and watch them when Cheltenham were at an away game I didn't want to attend (and before I had kids) and I actually own an FGR shirt from those days. I would never do that with Gloucester City.

Taking your mascot to an away game.

Funniest thing though was when it was hit by a rebounding ball during the pre-match warm up and knocked off its feet.

Have to add a couple more mentions for the Macclesfield announcer after last night.
How tinpot is it calling the opposition by the wrong name all night??? AFC Barrow, for fucks sake. Can't wait til they next play FC Manchester United, or Green Forest...

Not only that, but who in the hell pronounces Guiseley as Geezley?

God that man's a moron.

This is the list of questions that the ticket office at FGR were asking fans attempting to buy tickets for the home end last night. Potentially a good idea, but what if you happened to be a floating supporter of neither club who simply fancied taking in the game??

The problem I have with those questions is that they're too easy. I would imagine there are thousands of football fans who know the answers, and I'm not referring only to fans of Conference sides but also to fans of L1 and L2 clubs.

Precisely and if you were going to try and buy a ticket for the home end, if you had any degree of common sense, then they are the sort of questions you would have answers to before going to the game.

Don't Forest Green play in black and white?

Nothing unusual.

There were quite a few Clubs who did/do that in the FL.

Are accents in cheltenham not different than those of nailsworth? Accents are often giveaway that fans trying to get in home end support opposition

1/10.

Your trolling's gone down hill recently - must try harder.

I did, actually, think it was tinpot. "Success in Ability to manage a playing budget" - I mean really? It must be really difficult to manage their limited budget. "Stuart, can I have some more money to buy another striker from Woking please?"

Not that different, though I guess it depends who is talking. You get a pretty wide range of accents around here from BBC RP English to broad West Country, and a lot in between, but also a lot of people who have relocated from elsewhere. However, I take your point about the accent generally being a bit of a give-away and there is a pretty vast range in this division alone. It is generally easy to tall apart someone from Kent, the West Country, the North East or the Wirral. A few years ago I met a couple of Wrexham fans whose first language was Welsh, not English, which does tend to stand out a bit.

In fact the most tinpot thing was that despite the questions being "too easy", they had to print the answers for the FGR staff.

My north east accent stands out at any away game with no other club been anywhere near gateshead. We sadly aint had a derby since the demise or the original darlington, but as both teams jad big grounds, tickets weren't in short supply
