I have stumbled across another non-league badge rip off... say hello to Chobham Burymead FC, or as I interpret it: Wolverhampton Wanderers lost in a forest.

Macclesfield, classy as always. Fuck me, slow-mo footage of distressed kids on your official twitter account. Shame on you, sincerely.

When I first saw the clip I thought the same.. Write a sentence about it, but don't stick footage all over the tinterweb.

Or what would happen if Wolves and Wigan Athletic were to merge

We (Halifax Town) drew Tamworth at home in the FA Trophy.

So far so tinpot, right?

Anyway, we had a player for a few games this season name of Danny Racchi, a Haligonian himself. Appeared delighted to be playing for the team he watched as a boy etc. Underperformed, for example in the game where we lost 7–1 at home to Cheltenham, after which he was released. He responded to this by having a few ranty posts on our forum, which I believe have been taken down.

Anyway he quickly joined Tamuff, and one of our fans started talking to him yesterday about the upcoming game, and they put a bet together:

Today around lunchtime, the fan cashed in:

Remember footballers, don't place bets.

Damage control by Tamworth, FA are stopping players and officials of all clubs from step 4 upwards from placing any football bets. He's just seriously damaged his career. FA still likely to warn him and possibly fine him I imagine.

I remember Andy Burgess getting in shit for betting on himself to score in a game (a bet he lost).

The guy is a wrong 'un and has previous. I recall he was sacked from another club for something said on Twitter and in fact almost every club he's left has been under something of a cloud. I'm sure other clubs fans could tell you about him, he thinks he's a superstar.

We actually had Racchi on trial in the summer and we also had him here years ago, he's a decent enough player who many of our fans thought might be signed on but Mills was checking to see if he'd grown up since the York days but he realised he was still a tool so didn't offer him anything. Seem to recall Racchi then making some weird and inaccurate comments in the paper when we didn't sign him on.

Yep, I believe the NLP reported last week of players (or referees?) being suspended over betting. They were playing at Steps 5–7. The FA really are taking no nonsense and yes even cases like this should be part of the rule, even though it doesn't reply match fixing. Both Tamworth and Racchi could have been in serious doo-doo over this and I think Racchi, at 27, has all but finished off his pro career this season.

Barrow vs. Boreham Wood on a wint'ry Tuesday night must stand a real possibility of being the second ever Conference game to feature zero away fans.
That is, if Barrow will have a ground standing after today's weather!

Of course Leigh RMI took only 1 fan to many away matches back in 03/04.

And that fan took flag(s) leading to literal cases where there were more flags than fans in the away end.

Not a criticism of my team at all, but it's tinpottedness made me smile.

For yesterday's FA cup game in Colchester, the team (plus kitman, physio etc) and the club dignitaries travelled on nice luxury coaches; the team the day before, the dignitaries on the morning of the game. The goalkeeping coach however, had to drive the third supporters coach, and an old, small, toilet-free one at that.

How tinpot is a chairman of a Football club a) not knowing that he had to inform the FA that his club were planning on using a loan player in an FA Trophy tie, and b) Not knowing when his own clubs FA hearing was?

This is laughable. The Derbyshire County FA have no rules in place whatsoever in the eventuality of a Senior Cup tie being abandoned which is laughable really. They are meeting this week to discuss whether it should be replayed or the result should stand. We played 66 minutes.

Why not carry on from where they left the game?

Seemed as apt a place as any for a tinpot excuse in a League where Brunton Park probably had the odd tree and a few salmon to accompany the algae on the pitch recently. Al Gae replaces Barry Corr for the "assist" of sure-footed Luke Berry's goal on Saturday.

............ That was the excuse Plymouth boss Derek Adams gave after a late slip by defender Peter Hartley gifted Cambridge United a 2-1 victory at Home Park on Saturday. "It was Al Gae on the pitch, it has to be treated and hopefully that will be sorted in the week," said Adams. "That is the reason (for Hartley's slip)."

Some very tinpot antics from these two clowns, in the form of some proper unprofessional whinging, (almost school like), quite embarrassing for them really.

"It really is astonishing how scientific these pitches are nowadays" says Derek Adams.

So nowadays players not only need to be good at football, they also have to go to university.
