they felt humiliated and lost all confidence after blowing a 2-0 lead and nearly losing at our place.... no fight in them after that.
your team had fight and came from a goal down to win here, they couldn't hold on to a 2 goal lead and win - they'll bottle the play offs.
Cheltenham on the other hand won both games by keeping at it - after 80 mins or so they were looking at 1 point from the 2 games, but managed to win both...
