The T-shirt's design is decent enough, in fact I would say it's a well executed design. But those foam fingers :ffs: Still, tbh, nowhere near as bad as half and half scarves, and don't even get me started on half and half replica shirts :told:

If we all club together and throw him some cash could we persude ChrisFGR to be a half and half Full kit wanker?

Cmon....be a sport.

If Tranmere or Grimsby did it would it be considered tinpot? Doesn't seem so bad to me I'm sure lots have clubs have done shit like that
If Tranmere did it then it would indeed be considered tinpot, as they are not even playing in it.

Haha fuck off.

Seriously though, given Grimsby's kit is exactly like our traditional one (and our away kit last season, incl the red socks) it would just look like I was doing a support the old and new type thing.

When I went to the FAT final against Grimsby my girlfriend bought a red and white halved jesters hat

:ffs:

Seems quite appropriate tbf.

The MK Dons of Welsh football don't seem too impressed with Wrexham signing a centre half they've just released. Their "Official Feed" on Twitter was throwing this at Wrexham AFC's Twitter account earlier today:

If there's a case to answer, surely it's one for their legal team, rather than bitching about it on Twitter like a 16 year old goth.

TNS as a football club name is inherently cringeworthy. Do they even play in Wales?

No, they play in Oswestry, Shropshire. It's a cringeworthy club in all respects: bloke buys village team, renames them after his company, "merges" with another team in a different country, and moves to other team's stadium. He almost makes Dale Vince look like a "football bloke".

We used to have a skittles alley in the Green Man...until Dale Vince had it removed!

...and before anyone starts taking the mick, this is the West Country, we have skittles, cider and cheese rolling...we don't go in for fancying pigeons, flat-caps or whippets, but don't care if you are from somewhere that they do!

Yeah can remember that, but that was just on the side of the green man, tns have a full blown bowling alley. .

Skittles is in the same pot as darts for me though, it's a hobby for fat people with a drinking problem to claim they play a sport -_-

Fuck off. Darts is the sport of kings. And I've had quite a decent career in skittles leagues.

And I'm not fat. I do have a drinking problem though....

There's no way this trusted pillar of the community would cast such reckless aspersions. As you can see he clearly doesn't look capable of any underhand shithousery whatsoever.

Why do they play in Wales. Most clubs were desperate not to join the LoW and those forced in desperate to get out. Why the fuck would an English club CHOOSE to play in it?

I say they are forced to join this league, with Wrexham going the other way to the league they should be in.

Nowt wrong with skittles. Used to play religiously for 10 years before it became a choice between that and darts. Darts won out in the end.

The thing is, the LOW is well below National League standard, it's more like Step 3 standard.

Nice attempt at trolling.

We willl go and play in Wales once FGR have played in the English football league as long as we have. You currently have 0 years. Just 87 to go!

Don't Stockport County have a bowling green at Edgeley Park? Tenuous link there for you: bowling, bowls...

Quite a few sports have been hosted at the Shay too. Rugby and speedway being the obvious ones, then baseball, ice skating, boxing, even a football match once broke out in the middle of one of our Let's Twat Forest Green Players sessions.

Always thought you were Halifax for some reason :2thumb:

Nope, loud and proud FGR fan here. Unfortunately, I just don't agree with the way the club's currently run, feel the constant need to distance myself from a few fellow Green Army on here, and living in Calderdale for the past 20 years I have an infinitely greater desire to watch Halifax every week, such that I've only ever watched my team when the Shaymen are playing them.

Does that mean you can vote for Halifax players on the team of the season then lol?

Pretty sure I've heard of TNS including people in the adjoining leisure centre as part of their attendance.

They get quite a bit of cash for winning the WPL (+ Euro money), so there's a temptation to stay. There have been rumours about trying to get into the English pyramid,. but where would they start? Can't imagine they'd want to start at the bottom (where it'd be fair for them to start).

Oswestry Town were one of the founder members of the FAW in the 19th Century, I don't think it's wrong for them to play in the Welsh system.
