Micky Adams was a Blade when he left us to go there, that ended well. I'd stick with Northampton if I was him.

Looking at Northampton's squad from yesterday, it looks decent enough for a step up but I wouldn't expect too much of them next year. Forward line of Marquis and Collins (with Richards in the club too) which is ok for this league, nothing more. Ricky Holmes is their star man who I've always rated when I've seen him, but then again even Myles Weston looked like a superstar against league 2 full backs. Martin, O'Toole and Byrom - again, reasonable. All have had a crack at this league and haven't pulled up any trees yet though, although Martin has had a decent career at Championship level without being amazing. I recognise the names of their defenders but I honestly don't know enough about them to rate them, and the keeper I'm pretty sure I haven't heard of.

They seem a team of solid enough pros, so they should be fine for next season, but I'll wager they won't 'do a Burton'.

The keeper is the keeper from the Leicester sex tape. Turned down a January bid from Burnley for him, he's an exceptionally good keeper.

Didn't think this league could get any worse....

Cannot wait for our games against your mob. Assume you're expecting promotion next year after what DMac said?!

Did well with Notts as well.

Give him a budget and he'll get you out of the division.

This thread is about the current best team in the world not some geriatric hoof ball merchant...

Cannot wait for Northampton away, it is just a shame we will get a handful of tickets.

If I don't get tickets I would happily stand back on that hill again like the old days.

You'll get more tickets by then I'd imagine as our stand will FINALLY be done.

Another shit away day. Might be close but I'd rather drink me own bath water.

Probably around 1700. Rumour has it there's another level of seats going above the executive boxes in the revamped plans.

1700 is more than most of the attendances at the ground when we played there, that is all that matters!

Good to see greedy Marc Richards finally get promoted! Left us when in admin for money at Chesterfield, we promptly go up then leaves Chesterfield as they go up!

I think Marc Richards has found his level. I expect him to sign for Mansfield next season.

Head and shoulders the best goalkeeper in League Two.

If they can sort out their central defensive duo then I'd have thought a play off challenge would be a very realistic target.

I swear people were saying that about Daniel Bentley before he came up into this league, and each time I've seen him (live and on tv), he's looked a bit dodgy.

It's rare I'll get carried away with one of our players but our keeper Adam Smith is genuinely class, one of the reasons we have done so well this year.
