Looking forward to our annual 2-0 win at Sixfields next season ;)..

Just joking lads, I can honestly say I'm quite glad Northampton are back. Localish game, similar club to us and just generally very harmless.

'Harmless' - that is a withering word to describe a football club. Well done!

Memories of di Canio doing his loon impression with our injury time winner at Sixfields.

Say what you want about the guy but he's box office for fans

Quality, I remember very few opposition celebrations but that one definitely sticks. Brilliant...

Won't be sad to miss out on a trip to Northampton. Or Oxford and Plymouth for that matter.

I'm looking forward to Walsall if you stay down. A few weeks ago it was looking like all the local teams for us were gonna be in the promotion shakeup!

Yeah Smith didnt say anything racial, although having an orgy with your mates when your dating Miss Leicester is a bit of character flaw I think its fair to say, or maybe I am just behind on the times.

Cant wait to have a crack at league 1. Judging by how the promoted teams from last season have done there is not a lot to fear.

Burton have done brilliantly, far better than anyone realistically expected.
Of the other promoted teams, Southend and Bury were doing well but have struggled of late and are mid table and Shrewsbury have been struggling all season and are not safe yet.
Having said all that it is generally excepted that League One is pretty poo this year and the way you lot have ripped up League Two this season (the second half of the season anyway) I reckon you would do well with a little strengthening.

A few rumours knocking around (obviously they all reckon to have the vest of sources but time will tell...) that Adkins is a gonner by 'mutual consent' (suggestions of a no-promotion clause in his contract) once we don't make the POs and Wilder is our preferred candidate. Time will tell I guess, think we'd be stupid to spend another pre-season with a new manager in all honesty but there we go.

Don't let the table fool you. There's no way on earth we're a promotion team. We had one player that separated us from the rest and we sold him in January plus we forced to reduce our squad size. Since then we've played a few teams at the right time to keep us in the top two but we now look every inch the mid table team we should really be and to be fair mid table would still be punching way above our weight considering the size of us. To think we could go up is ridiculous and mildly terrifying.

If you're sorted at board level and you've got a canny manager you'll be fine.

I think Northampton will be fine in this league but I really can't see them pushing for anything more than a mid-table spot if I'm honest. I say that purely on looking at the players they're currently playing to steamroller league two, particularly the forwards. Collins, Richards and Marquis are all 'fine'. I can't see any of them firing a team to within contention in this league. The only player I see there with a little bit extra is Holmes, but this could easily be a flash in the pan season. I hope not though, as I've always liked him form his Barnet days. Could be a Burton situation, where the sum of the parts equal more than the individuals, but I just can't see it.

Neither can I now that we don't have Graham fucking Westley.

Though it still depends on who we appoint. Hopefully Grant McCann!

I want you to get Evans. Another reason to hate you.
