Too true. Every new owner's the best owner coz the last one was crap. A lot of our supporters continually fall for that one. Peter Storrie, fictitious oil sheiks, Alan Hardy everyone of them has the five year plan, not one of them left us in good shape.
We can't get rid of the latest incumbent, he owes himself a fortune through loans so we're stuck until a judge takes the decision out of his hands.

Good luck to Yeovil though, after twenty five years a change had to come.

The club just needs to call Fawaz Al Hasawi, job done.

So, the fixtures are out tomorrow. Who do we think you're getting first, who do you think you'll get for the Christmas/New Year double header and which games are you most looking out for.

Personally, I think we'll get a southern team at home to kick things off as per usual. So I'll go with Ebbsfleet at home. The double header will hopefully send us to Barrow as I'm away then and I'm hoping both Notts County away and Torquay away fall on weekends. Torquay ideally in September or April.

Hoping for Torquay away first or any London trip. Think we'll get Chorley in our Xmas double header, hopefully being at home on Boxing Day.

We'll start away to Hartlepool, Woking over the festive period and Bromley at home on the final day.

Looking forward to Stockport, Notts County and Yeovil away (all new grounds for me)

Think we’ll get a home match to start this season, so I’ll say Maidenhead. Also think Chorley is likely for the Christmas/New Year matches. Suppose Barrow could also be a possibility and pretty sure we’ve had Halifax for those slots one season too. We almost always seem to finish the season at home, so I think that will turn this time and we’ll end with Torquay away, which would be fun.. providing it’s been a good season, of course.

Anyone but one of our Brothers, let’s have one of the easy beats like Sutton at home first

Can see it being a Barrow-Hartlepool festive fixture, with Halifax and Harrogate facing each other, and any of Wrexham, Stockport, Chorley and Fylde making up the other northern games.

Four hour round trip on Boxing Day, no thanks.

We had Eastleigh on Boxing day a couple of years ago, lovely 5 hour round trip.

Fortunately it's a certainty we will have Yeovil this year which comes out at just under a 3 hour trip up and back.

Those clubs in the North West, Midlands and South East don't know how good they've got it

We've had Gateshead in the past, and you've essentially replaced them as the only North East side.

This is why I wanted Spennymoor to come up instead! Safe to say we won’t take 3,500 to Barrow like we do to Gateshead.

It'll be Hartlepool-Harrogate

It's rare that County are given a sensible opponent for boxing day/new years, so it'll be us against Barrow

Think we will get Fylde boxing Day/new year. Hope we get a biggie at home first game. Most likely get boreham wood away or something like that just to welcome us to this league.

At least we can all agree that whoever gets Barrow for boxing day/new year has drawn the short straw.

Except me, as I'm not around at that time. Please let it be Barrow. Fylde as a 2nd choice, would rather it wasn't Chorley as I want to visit there as it'd be a new ground.

Think it will be us / Notts County Boxing Day / New Years which would be great. Potentially a couple of big 10k crowds i'd think, especially if we're doing well.

Want Torquay away early doors / late on for the weather. HArrogate, Stockport and CHorley are the other 3 I want on Saturdays as they're decent local games.

The rest of you can get to fuck

Well first game we will be away as F***** are home to West Brom (although technically we don't have the "both can't be home at the same time" rule as we are non-league).
That said we should still be getting decent gates 5-6k pushing 7-8 if we are doing alright, so the police will probably say no.

I also think we might be televised on BT, I have a feeling it will be Halifax.
Like Spire says, we will play Chesterfield over Xmas.
We also have to be away final game so I'd like Torquay for the obvious.

Ooooh, I suppose due to the fact this league plays about 10 games in 6 weeks they have space at the end.
Thanks for the info.

Think we’ll get Eastleigh in the Xmas double header, with Woking playing Maidenhead.
Also think we’ll start our title-winning season with a nice trip up to Hartlepool.
