The National League will hold an EGM on Wed 26 May to hold a vote of no confidence in the Chairman & the Board. The meeting was requested by clubs, who I understand, are now "seeking legal advice as to whether the structure of the meeting, as proposed by the League, is lawful." (Ollie Bayliss)

Suspect there'll be a few Ed Woodward-esque "I was going to retire anyway" resignations before that happens.

It's all months too late to do anything about the people responsible; I strongly hope they put a structural overhaul on the table instead

Some concerning news - Former Harrogate, Halifax, AFC Flyde and Chorley Striker James Dean has gone missing.
Really hope he’s found. I saw a few lads I know that played football with him tweeting about it. Meant to be a top bloke

Our home game v Torquay has been moved to Sunday, 16th May.

Some on our forum reckon the club asked for it to be the day after, so that fans could be allowed in, but Torquay vetoed it. Gutted.

I think the TV would have been a massive factor in not being on a Monday as well.

Silly question, but there are 23 teams on the BBC league table. One of them being Dover. How many teams are gonna be in the division next season? Do we know yet? Who else disappeared this season?

I was just looking at the play off dates and saw the final is due to be Saturday 19th June so I assume Wembley is out with the Euros being on. So has anyone heard where it's going to take place? On that day at 2pm, Hungary are playing France and there are games at 5pm and 8pm so I assume they won't want to clash the match with any of these too?

I think Leicester's ground was mentioned.

Why would the final be on June 19th when they could well have an unrestricted attendance any time after the 21st?

Attendances will not be unrestricted after the 21st.
Not been announced yet, hence the use of the phrase ‘could well have’. And there’ll certainly be fewer restrictions than before June 21st.

I suspect they’ll be unrestricted enough for it not to trouble clubs at our level, even in a play-off final.

At least we're leading the way in one area, although our conversion rate is terrible

I can’t believe that cynical, niggly B’wood are the least dirty team in this league.

Just seems odd there’s not an alternative Midlands or northern venue lined up, given the teams likely to be involved

Yeah as usual no thought given to the fans at all. It's the day before more restrictions are due to be lifted though, so not sure how many fans will be allowed anyway.

Surely Derby's Pride Park was the best option. Bang in the middle of the country, plenty of spectator capacity, plenty of parking around for fans arriving and its in Derby so no one is going to stick around after the game, win or lose they'll all head home sharpish.

Possibly the most stupid location imaginable, save for maybe the South Coast.

Location isn’t great but worst of all it isn’t big enough if restrictions are still in place the clubs will get 3k each tickets wise. National League numptys strike again.

I don’t know what their pitch is like but the Bristol rugby team are still playing on it so might not be the best .

I presume that area of the country might be least affected by the new COVID variants but then Bristol is a big place with a large population.
