Also, Manoj Badale, owner of IPL side Rajasthan Royals and founder of venture capital firm Blenheim Chalcot has made an investment into the club.

My mate who's an Alty fan reckons he has other ventures business wise and has been getting into commentary in general. So with him being South African, he's been a commentator on a few AFCON games apparently. My mate thought that is why he signed at Alty because they're still mostly part time. He also reckoned some of his ventures are over in South Africa so he may end up going back over there.

He never really got into their team even when there though. Not sure he was ever properly committed but that's just a hunch more than a fact.

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain to get to. I walked it from the train station and had hardly any time to get back. Their pitch is absolutely fantastic this season though, shame for them to lose that.
