So there's going to be 14 teams who expect to get into the playoffs, and the other 9?
Reminds me of the League 2 forum where according to posters on there Grimsby, Southend, Barrow, Scunthorpe, Colchester, Port Vale, Carlisle, Bradford and Mansfield were all definitely getting relegated last year.

Lynn are 'going for it'. OK, let me rephrase, all the local press talk is how we are moving to a more full-time model and some players have left citing being unable to commit to the new training schedule, although we do have way too many of last years squad signed up for 2021-22. Personally I will still think an finish outside of the drop zone will be a success (and prolong the agony of playing a league without the infrastructure to support a team at this level) but many at the Walks are happy with the raised expectations and have bought into the narrative that we have learned the lessons from last year.

Nobody really knows at this stage of the season what is going to happen particularly as signings and squads haven't been finalised.
Covid and the financial effect on clubs hasn't been mentioned yet or is everyone just borrowing money to get through it?

Our first game here in our first season was away at Fatty Evans moneybags Crawley and we beat them 1-0 and so we thought the same.
The next week we lost 2-1 at home to Hayes and Yeading.
Well we thought the same the first year we fell into the NLN, after all we'd been a second tier club not that long ago and surely we'd hit rock bottom and would be bouncing back up again. First game of the season Boston at home lost 1-4, probably the biggest football related reality check I've ever had.

That first season of ours we had quite a few reality checks, a 4-1 hammering at Rushden and Diamonds being one of the worst.

Sam Slocombe has signed a new 2 year deal which is a great boost for us.
He turned down offers from (sources) Scunthorpe, Rochdale and Walsall

The only ones who had a genuine risk were Southend, Barrow, Colchester and maybe Scunthorpe.

Fucking Carlisle fans worried about relegation when they were in mid-table!

I suppose the period where Michael Knighton was chairman could have led to a lifetime of paranoia for some Carlisle fans.

Every season, Carlisle are always definitely going to be relegated from League 2..
The flip side of that coin was Carver half way through the season saying that Carlisle would easily win the league and even if they got injuries or a backlog of fixtures due to Covid (which then happened) it wouldn’t matter as Carlisle’s reserves and even their youth team would be good enough to still win the league.

I'm not going to waste another second of my precious life looking down here at this pitiful non-league forum.

Just how depressing it is down here, unless you're a Hartlepool fan, you'll feel right at home.

This is what we have always said, Carlisle are absolutely obsessed with us. You just need to see their forum, got our Derby back etc. Lolz.

What are they putting in the water up there?

Think their water supply comes directly from Sellafield. No other explanation for it.

We'll have at least 3 sides claiming they've got their derby back when we go up.

Weird isn't it. Barrow v Carlisle is not a Derby but Carlisle v Hartlepool and Wrexham/Barra are. Very strange breed.

Notts County 9/2
Grimsby Town 5/1
Wrexham 6/1
Chesterfield 13/2
Torquay United 8/1
Southend United 12/1
Solihull Moors 16/1
Dagenham and Redbridge 25/1
Bromley 33/1
Yeovil Town 33/1
Boreham Wood 33/1
Eastleigh 33/1
Barnet 40/1
Halifax Town 50/1
Aldershot Town 66/1

Woking 150/1
Altrincham 150/1
Wealdstone 200/1
Kings Lynn Town 250/1

Bromley as close as you’re going to get to some value? Strong end to the season under their new manager, got the top scorer in the league and the home plastic pitch advantage.

Dagenham at 25/1 has caught my eye. End of season form tells you they’re capable…

Worth a fiver I reckon

Have you just made them up or is a real bookie offering them, if so which one?
