Harrogate away tomorrow for us. Always difficult to know which Harrogate you're going to get. They seem to be hot going forwards, but shaky at the back.

Hoping for a 3rd win on the trot but I'd happily take a point and then go and beat Chesterfield on BH Monday!

It might be the only one we put in this season, it might be one of many, but that was a title-winning sorta performance from Town. Two goals from the counter in the first half, then the second half was pretty commandeering, enjoying ourselves and scoring two from some great play. Quick and ruthless from virtually our first attack with the first (McAlinden), strong running and placement right in-line with the defender for the second (Sho-Silva), a sequence of clever, cutting passes for the third (Cameron King), then a mazy run from our left back of all players for the fourth (Binnon-Williams), who then thundertwatted a rocket straight into the top pokie, perhaps the pick of the bunch and the sort of goal Kosylo would've scored at his absolute best. All the sweeter for it being Flyde (all sat down after the third, half of their 102 massive then immediately walked off after the fourth), then seeing Shuddersfield lose again down at the Galbladder. We played smart and had a resolute defence. They played openly throughout which nearly got them a second on two occasions where they got one-on-one, but on the other hand it made us cut them like butter with switches and through balls. We've not seen owt like that down Shay for a while.

To be honest we played well in spells but we're undone by two terrible bits of defending.

Our goals were well worked, well taken. Ebbsfleet had the luck. Not sure which one was worse to concede out of the two.

Soon as Rose went into defence it all went Pete Tong. Doyle needs to retire. We couldn't compete in midfield. Giving Doyle more than a 4/10 would need a trip to Specsavers.

You were playing at hoping Kosylo would turn on the style to get one over on his former club. Instead he showed his old greedy self, his token booking and then disappeared out of the game before ending up playing right back. The only surprise is that the scuffle on the halfway line and he was not one of the first on the scene with his handbag out.

A good rule of thumb is that if you were shit in the League, you'll be shit out of the League too. So far, so expected. Brother.

Don't worry - you have to play Chesterfield at some point....
Although we ended up only getting a draw today 1st half could and should have been 5 or 6 goals up (and that's from reading Chesterfields own forum). One or perhaps both of Hignett and Sheridan could be gone by the time you meet them in a months time.
