Missed opportunity against Orient yesterday. Devonshire made the surprise decision to start Ryan Bird up front and it went badly like all his previous starts. He was presented with an open goal by the Orient defender but decided to take a touch first and blew it. He's very slow and plays with his back to goal which doesn't suit us. I have no doubt that he's our highest earner and that Devonshire therefore desperately wants things to work out for him here, but he's not suited to us at all and I'd like to see us cash in on him tbh and just start Clifton every game.

Overall I thought we had plenty of possession today but our deliveries and shots from distance were absolutely shocking. We desperately need a goalscoring midfielder when Upward is not available. Hopefully Devonshire gives Shamsi a chance soon.

Havant & Waterlooville are appalling. I'll be surprised if they manage to stay up.

See you both at The Shay next week. :bye:
You won't

It's £20 to get in, we haven't won in 12, it's on BT Sport, Northern Rail are on strike, and i'm in Spain for the England game.

If 500 travel i'd be massively suprised and the club should have them all sectioned

Chesterfield must have been really shit Saturday if their fans were choosing to post on here during the match rather than actually watching it.

I was enjoying a weekend in the welsh countryside. The thought of watching us score 0 at home for the 6th game in 7 was exactly enticing me to go to the match
