1 point from 9 from Dover has bought Fylde, Ebbsfleet, Bromley & Dagenham back into the play off picture

That was embarrassing. At least we haven't got Fylde away on Saturday. Oh, wait

Fair play to Sutton, putting in a woeful performance today giving them a much better chance of beating Fylde next week.

Well done Macc. The Gods are certainly with you. Stonewall penalty denied at the death when Crawford tripped in box. Tranmere will relegate us next Saturday, but we'll know that they ain't going up.

You realise when we beat you it’s just securing top 3 for us?

Also Sutton losing today so Fylde don’t turn up against them next week is a sneaky tactic.

Got exactly what we deserved there, had most of the possession all game and didn’t even trouble their keeper, Guiseley has the best of the chances and should’ve scored before they did.

Typical Pools really, put ourselves in a great position then shoot ourselves in the foot.

I'd agree first half but second I thought very evenly contested with us creating the better chances. Southwell really should have had a hatrick.
Enjoyed the game though.

Fair point, you did come back into it second half and should've scored before you did, suicidal defending from us for the winner though, WTF was he thinking trying to stoop down and head the ball like that, just hoof it into the stand and take a point.

That was not pretty stretch of the imagination, but win is that counts. Sympathy for Chester fans who will think they (probably rightly) deserved a point.

John askey has done an amazing job, well done macc, he has an eye for a player so they will stay up next season i think.

I think railway blue is right we wont go up... idont mind too much i moan a lot but i like this league with its non segregation , visiting supporters you can actually chat to in the pub before the game , dodgy refs and uncovered stands .

Hope chester return they will be the big boys in that league next season so it will be tough but they should be able to attract some of the salford or brackley players who aint good enough for the national league.

You're already down, let's face it. No need to be bitter.

We were abysmal today. Still need 3 wins to even make the playoffs and I genuinely don't know where they are coming from

Referee was a beyond a joke but we just weren't good enough anyway.
While that ref was shit we completely cost ourselves any chance of getting back into it. The pen was a joke decision granted, Andrade just falls over and the ref can't blow quick enough.

But then we completely lost our heads and mouthed our way into 3 or 4 bookings. And then right at the start of the second half Kevin Roberts fell for some classic shithouse tactics from Andrade.. gets the ball kicked at him after he'd already won the free kick, saw the red mist and mouthed off at him and went back after him again, doing his best Vinnie Jones on Gazza impression... I don't think the ref or linesmen were going to do anything but their tit of a manager went moaning to the fourth official and after ages Roberts receives the red card.

Wood actually looked a good footballing team first 15-20 mins - Andrade and Ferrier are two great forwards at this level and both offer something different. But then they just time wasted and went to ground easily and the players (or the crowd) just couldn't deal with it. We still managed to create enough chances once we actually just focused on playing - not our day.

Glad we've lost this superb unbeaten run everyone has been banging on about also.. 16 unbeaten but I think we've drawn about 15 of them.

As if we brought our best striker off with over 15 minutes to go, right after he orchestrated our first chance of the game.

Andy Davies is a fucking abysmal interim, he's the John Carver of non league. We'll still somehow finish in the play offs, but we're the team that everyone wants to face.

Our form of late has just given us a sniff.

Next two games are Woking at home and Guiseley away. If we sit on 64 points after them with 4 games to go, I'll believe that we can nick 7th. Any less though and that'll be it. Makes it interesting anyway.

We'll finish 6th or 7th if we're lucky and will be beaten straight away in the playoffs.

I miss the good old days where we used to draw every game.

Overheard him at a restaurant when he first joined saying he didn’t want to play non league again.

On the evidence of what I’ve seen of him he’s right, he’ll be lucky to get a job at somewhere like Guiseley.
Well, he's not FL standard so he'll have to live with it for a while longer yet.

Im not confident on us winning again this season, i think our only chance of staying up is Woking being shitter than us.
