Barra v Pools
Chesterfield v FC Halifax
Dover v Ebbsfleet
Eastleigh v Boreham Wood
Harrogate v Chorley
Notts v Solihull
Stockport v Fylde
Woking v Torquay
Wrexham v Maidenhead
Yeovil v Sutton

Back to back wins for Pools gives us confidence going into Tuesday game with Barra, with any luck they'll take the lead and we can sit back and watch as they self implode and we run out 3-1 winners.

Good to renew our rivalry with Torquay - I’m convinced we’ll play them every season until the end of time.

Don’t think they’ve ever won at Kingfield, although last season’s 3-3 probably felt like a win.

Gerring went off with a dead leg on Saturday so may not be fit. Even though he’s probably been our best player this season I wouldn’t mind if he missed this one and we play Diarra and Parry at CB.

I suspect we will get beat by Halifax and the ticking time bomb will get ever closer to going off

Torquay beat us 1-0 at home once. Elliot Benyon scored I think

Will take a point, anything to get us closer to 50

Well, we'll go there confident for sure Brother, but with the nagging doubt, can we hack it without the Rock of the team, skipper Matty Brown. He went down and stayed down, without any contact on Saturday and will undoubtedly miss tomorrow's match and a good few more besides. The good news is that Cameron King, THE outstanding player in this division, and a class above anything in L2 too, the man who DESTROYED Fylde, the man who makes us tick, will be back after a nice rest. Looking forward to it......:bdick:

Meanwhile...... In the footballing hotbed of Harrogate, I am pleased to announce that the club forum has now received it's 2nd comment since Saturday's match, bringing the total to 20 for the past month.

I'm sorry I keep forgetting , what IS the point of clubs like these again? :ds:

Never a good sign when I get this god awful slightly optimistic buzz about our chances.

Hey Chesterfield fans, can we pay on the gate tomorrow and what stand are we in?
Also, is there much in the way of street parking, or should we head for the car parks? :ds:

Not much luck in Chesterfield for ya. You'll have to pitch up a bit out of town.

Ah, the days of the NL sending you from one end of the country to the other on consecutive match days, 3 days apart like Hartlepool.

We got done a few times like that.

Plenty of street parking around the ground, I got parked easily when I went and that was with 2600 of us there so the 250 Halifax fans should have no bother finding a space.

Tonight we renew this weird 'rivalry' we have with Blackpool wannabe's AFC £ylde.

It'll be nice to welcome back Lewis Montrose and Scott Duxbury to EP, both deserve a good reception and I'm sure they both miss playing in front of a decent crowd each week.

I've been very pleased with our start to the season, but I do worry that fitness may start to become a bit of an issue as the players have started to look tired and leggy by the end of the games recently. I'd expect full time sides to exploit this eventually.

I'll quite happily take 4 points from the next 2 games (we have Chorley away on Saturday), but even a loss tonight wouldn't be the worst result.

What's the crack with Wrexham, are they playing badly or just being unlucky? Tempted to lump a fiver on them and Woking tonight as they both have decent odds.

Where are those Fylde and Harrogate fans who were never off this forum last season?

Fans of the REAL clubs are here, no matter how their team is faring. :dk:

Tough one for the Gulls tonight at Kingfield. Woking seem to be on fire (or very lucky, depending on which posts you read online).... Early on in the season, and the game doesn't have the edge it did last season so I doubt many of the Yellow Army will be in attendance tonight... I'd guess around 200 at most which still ain't too bad for a Tuesday night.

We're not playing with the consistency we were last season and have been found out in many games. Our defending needs some work. That said, I'd be more than happy with a draw tonight and take all 3 points against Harrogate on Saturday which will boost the confidence of the players somewhat.

Wouldn't bother mate, been playing crap lately. If Maidenhead get 1 or 2 set pieces they should win.

Saturday was a mix of bad fortune & ineptitude for them

Cheers, I'll give you the gift of a win in that case and switch to Stockport. We all know what's gonna happen now, so apologies in advance Stockport fans!
Like MWS I'd be happy with a draw tonight right now. Much more looking forward to putting six past Chorley this weekend

I sincerely believe that if Wrexham had stuck with a flat back four, they'd be sitting pretty at the moment. This wing-back thing only works if you have the players good enough to execute it, which they don't. They may also be missing the calming influence of Lainton between the sticks.

I'd agree with ForzaCounty that Saturday was a mix of bad fortune and ineptitude: bad fortune when they had the ball, and Wrexham's ineptitude when Stockport had it. You can kinda see what they're trying to do, which is good, but they're still miles off being able to do it, which isn't.

I can see Maidenhead winning this, resulting in much storming out in disgust and sacrificing of season tickets from the front of the stands. You know, like it's April, rather than September.

Anyone else having problems displaying the forum on their mobile?

Anyway, poor result for us at Yeovil on Saturday despite having chance after chance in the 2nd half. We need to put it right tonight v Solihull, who have lost 3 on the bounce.

One thing doing my head in about non-league is the lack of information on certain matters. For example, Solihull's Paul McCallum has missed the last 2 or 3 games, but I can't find a single word on the nature of his injury/if he's likely to play tonight. Although this may be just as much a comment about the decline in local journalism...

There's a guy on the Chesterfield forum claiming, "they got lucky with the rugby club building a new ground, with a little help from the council"...........

Oh my! Oh my oh my, if he only knew how funny that was.........:fl::fl::fl:
