Anyone else feeling a lack of the usual excitement for the start of the season? I think the current situation has drained a lot of my enthusiasm for the new season (although watching the Sutton v Maidenhead stream will be the centrepoint of my day)

I haven't missed it one bit. 6 months of bliss.

Based on pre-season, our defence looks dodgy. And we haven't exactly been scoring for fun either. 1-0 to Daggers or 1-1 my prediction.

Nailed on Kings Lynn win as our game is on tv. At least we'll look half decent after binning off Hummel's kit at the last minute.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Impossible to predict today’s result .Nobody has kicked a ball in anger for 6 months, new players in and some out. I would just say that I was not impressed with our centre defence pre-season, and a lot will depend on new midfield defenders. Less of a home advantage might help ,bit of an odd atmosphere ,but then that will apply to all games.
I‘ll stick my neck out- 1-1, fingers crossed.

I guess you could say that every game is on TV this season, so should we be lumping on you to go down? ;)

Strong start to the new era of watching matches - Dover’s website has gone down.

Our stream is up and it's very fuzzy when the camera is moving, this might get a bit nauseous..

Ours has not been too bad, teething problems are to be expected.
Unfortunately Eastleigh look more of a complete team than us and have taken the lead.

Our stream isn't as bad as I expected at the minute but it's just not football without the crowd.

Camera work on ours is absolutely diabolical.

Borehamwood have been miles better than us.

This is gearing up to be a vintage Pools home performance, most of the ball, some decent chances, just waiting for the Aldershot goal now..

Sutton have just gone 2-0 up against Maidenhead. 2020 is a strange year

1 up, but since when was Feaths on the penners? Definite pen mind.

We're looking alright to be fair, Holohan has been a bit wasteful, should be further ahead but looks like they've actually done something in pre season unlike most years.

Somehow we are winning this despite Boring Wood being easily the better side. We are improving though.

Jeffrey is as rubbish as Dover and Sutton fans said.

We’ve improved as the half has progressed and have equalised through a couple of deflections from Fonguck’s shot.

Played canny, should be a couple in front like but can't grumble with that so far.

Jeffrey will be nowhere near once Jordan Davies is fit I'd have thought. Borehamwood bossed us for half an hour but it's been more comfortable after the goal, which came out of nowhere. They look a good team to be honest.

Kelleher has looked good, looks a leader, been composed on the ball and looking to pass it rather than hoof. Some nice play from him released Hall-Johnson to score the goal.

Haven't seen him play in absolute years but Matt Rhead is still doing that thing where he backs in and falls down at the merest contact, fair play to him for longevity.

I don’t care that it’s only halftime on the opening day of the season, Sutton United are currently top of the league

Look like we have a rick in us at the back mind, sloppy at times. Cut that out and we'll get the points.

1-1 from a free kick that was never a foul. Being reffed out of it.
