3-0 down at Torquay, after our coach was delayed we weren't even given sufficient time to warm up. Write off already.

Decided not to go tonight. 4-0 at half time.

Don't even think we can snatch a loss from this position.

Our away form seems to have collapsed for some reason, after a strong start.

Looking a lot better for us recently! Injuries starting to creep back in though, Jack Payne, Andy Drury and Darren McQueen all missing tonight.

We're crap at the moment, missing a number of key players, including our two best strikers. But we keep nicking points to keep us in and around the top. Could be vital.

2-2 at Sutton, Dover with an equaliser at the death, after Sutton had over-turned a 1-0 halftime deficit

90+7 min goal for Pools seals an undeserved 1-0 win. Get in. Good job the barrow strikers are gash

Hard to believe in know but we get a 0-0 draw at The Shay. I know most of us would have predicted goals galore but there you go. On to Saturday in front of the cameras where everyone can enjoy the entertainment.

Macclesfield doing their usual routine- start off great, fall away, threadbare squad after a tough summer, repeat.

You forgot the 'being 20 minutes away from liquidation' and then they suddenly assemble a pretty good squad with a week to go until the start of the season. Add in the usual Askey being "flattered" and flirting with other clubs even though he hasn't left the vicinity of Macclesfield for over 30 years and that's the season in a nutshell.

So frustrating that, on Danny Whitakers 400th appearance for Macc, we've dropped more points from winning positions. Red card cost us.

Surprisingly, we beat Chester for the 42nd time in a row on the night Danny Whitaker made his 400th appearance for Macclesfield AND scored.

Getting a bit silly how we're lucking our way through this season though.

A poor game where we were slightly less poor than Guiseley. How are we top, league must be... Poor.

Can't even be bothered putting in something about Danny Whitaker scoring on his 400th appearance.

Got out of jail big time there, CH is far too negative at home, one striker up top all game, if Barrow had a striker upfront instead of two big dummies they'd of won that, both missed sitters.

Deverdics best player on the pitch by a mile and for some reason he's still stuck at left back.

Glad to get the three points on Danny Whittakers 400th appearance for Macclesfield, but we didn't deserve it.

You utter, utter bastards.

Third signing - winger Andy Howarth
Am I correct in thinking he's not so well regarded? He seems to have been swapping clubs rather alot recently.

Very surprised Cox would sign him, having effectively frozen him out at Barrow. I liked him and thought he was a good crosser of the ball - very greedy though, which obviously fans don't like. Also spoons 3 out of 4 long range efforts out of the ground as well.

Nice to be top, and also pretty ridiculous considering we've only scored 16 goals.

We were 1-0 up, comfortably on top of the game and Jake Gallagher makes one of his stupid, reckless tackles and costs us the win. 4 points in 2 home games we've now thrown away from winning positions in the last 10 minutes.

Woking were good tonight, fair play.

We were terrible, all compounded by a fecking stupid back pass from an atrocious Halls. Take him back Macc, please.

Confidently predicting that we will look much the better side for 80% of tomorrow night’s match, miss a series of good chances and lose 4-0 (at least three coming from set pieces).
