Newest low point as a Spireite; fans singing 'you're not singing any more' for an equaliser away at Maidenhead...

We've decided that we're going to take off our 2 best players and defend our six yard box which means we'll probably lose 3-2 now.

Two games in and we’ve had the worst refereeing decision I think I’ve ever seen!

We unsurprisingly still look like a total team of strangers, all points at the minute are good ones. Stockport’s support was brilliant.

I’m still trying to come to terms with the ref NOT EVEN GIVING A FOUL for the most blatant two-footed lunge you could ever hope to see.

Sounds like Solihull blew us away in the 1st half, and we were slightly unlucky in the 2nd (missing a pen and hitting the post with numerous clear chances blocked). Fair play Solihull, will 100% be up there.

Five goals conceded, all from back post headers. We are indisputably worse than last season.
We'll be dipping into the loan market ASAP.

Finished 1-1 away at Maidenhead after going behind so gotta be seen as a point gained.

It’s a point on the road and we’re off the mark. Boreham Wood (a) next on Saturday.

A draw was a fair result. At the start of the second half it looked like we could go on and score a couple more but Sutton came back well and caused up problems with their more direct approach. We don’t have the sort of strong forward who can give us an option if we play it long.

Somehow lost to d&r, gave away both goals
Should have been a draw, but we didn't put enough on target

Normal service resumed with 3 points at Kingfield. Thought we were excellent, especially second half, never really looked like conceding. Would have lost that last season.

15 shots and 1 shot on target. Shite. Chorley as hard working as ever. Definitely wont go down. Terrible substitutions by our manager as well. It's as if he was happy with a draw. 2 points dropped. Chorley solid defensively but nothing going forward

Not the same team but a change to the 3-5-2 seemed to suit us tonight.

Don’t know what the chances are of bringing in Stott and Lloyd but they would fit into the 3-5-2 perfectly and I’d be a lot less worried about a relegation battle.

Usual 3 points at Kingfield for us.

First half i'm not sure how we went in 1-0 up but Woking failed to hit a barn door while we scored with about the only moment of real quality from either side. Second half we seemed more in control and Walker was less troubled in goal.

Also it was quite funny when a few Woking fans let off the world's most pathetic smokebomb...

...for a goal that was ruled out for offside

Billy Bingham is far too good for this league. He's won goal of the season already. Ebbsfleet, based on tonight, are nowhere near good enough.

That was a battle. Took an early lead and in the same way as Saturday, had a reasonable first 20-30 minutes, then got pretty well battered. But my god did we put body’s on the line and defend heroically towards the end.

Sutton got in our faces In the second half and stopped us playing from the back.
Once it became an aerial battle they were the better side and deserved a draw.

No chance will you be in a relegation battle on that showing (admittedly I don’t have a lot of reference for this league but still). Really good game of football.

Weren't you top after 4 or 5 last season too?

Yes. But that’s not the point I’m making. There’s no way we are going down as whipping boys like everyone predicted.
